No, the Wahl KM2 is designed for cordless use only. Do not operate while connected to the charger.

How do I clean the shaver?

Remove the foil and cutter assembly and rinse under running water. Use the supplied brush to remove hair debris. Let all parts dry completely before reassembly.

How often should I replace the foil and cutter?

For optimal performance, replace the foil and cutter every 12 months or when you notice reduced shaving efficiency.

Is the Wahl KM2 suitable for wet shaving?

The KM2 is designed for dry shaving only. Do not use with shaving foam, gel, or water on your face. The shaver head is washable but the body is not waterproof.

How do I use the pop-up trimmer on the Wahl KM2?

Slide the trimmer lever upward to raise the trimmer. Use it for edging sideburns or precision trimming. Lower it after use.

What should I do if the shaver stops working?

First, ensure the battery is charged. If it still doesn't work, check for hair blockage. If the problem persists, contact Wahl customer support. Do not attempt to disassemble the unit.

Can I take the Wahl KM2 in my hand luggage?

Cleaning your Wahl clippers blades

Your tools should be cleaned and sanitized after every client to prevent the spread of infectious skins diseases.

Start by brushing off excess hair on your blades.

Spray your clipper/trimmer blades with Wahl Clini-Clip, and allow to sit before wiping off any excess with a clean towel.

Ensure you also spray your combs, brushes and attachment combs with Clini-Clip as well.

Make sure you oil your blades immediately after using Clini-Clip with Wahl Blade Oil.

All Wahl Clippers are tested before they leave our factory. Often testing materials or grinding compound may be found on the blades. This is easily cleaned off using the enclosed blade cleaning brush.

Your Clipper blades should be removed periodically (at least once a month) to allow the cut hair to be cleaned out from under the blades.

First, check to see what type of clipper & blade you have. It will be either one of the two below:

1. Snap on/off

This will be the case for most of our Animal Clippers, UNLESS it has a taper lever. If your clipper does not have a taper lever, simply snap the blade off and clean any loose hair that has fallen into the now-open section of the clipper. Once this is done, simply re-attach your blade!

2. Screws blades

If your clipper does have a taper lever, then you will be required to screw the blades off for cleaning. Simply use a screwdriver to undo the blade screws and then remove the blades. Remove the sponge and clean it, plus any hair that is caught in the clipper. Reverse the process to re-attach the blades. HOW TO OIL YOUR BLADES

With the blade directed downwards, turn the clipper/trimmer on.

Apply three drops of oil – one on each side and one in the middle.

With the clipper/trimmer still on, move the taper lever back and forth to work oil into blade.

Turn off clipper/trimmer and blot excess oil with clean towel.

Always use Wahl Clipper Oil on your Wahl tools as it is specifically designed to extend the life of your blades.
