Frequently Asked Questions - AI40W Fluance

How do I connect the Fluance AI40W to my TV?

How do I pair Bluetooth?
Press the Bluetooth button on the remote or rotate the input knob to 'BT'. The speaker will enter pairing mode. Enable Bluetooth on your device, select 'Fluance AI40W' from the list, and confirm. The LED will turn solid blue when connected.
Can I use only one speaker?
No, the AI40W is a stereo pair. Both speakers must be connected to each other via the included speaker wire to function correctly. The right speaker is the powered master unit.
How do I adjust the bass and treble?
On the back of the right speaker, there are separate bass and treble knobs. Turn clockwise to increase, counterclockwise to decrease. The remote also has bass/treble buttons for adjustment.
What is the maximum power output?
The AI40W delivers 80 watts total (40 watts per channel RMS). This provides ample volume for small to medium rooms.
Why is there no sound from the speakers?
Check that both speakers are connected with the speaker wire, the power is on, and the volume is turned up. Ensure the correct input is selected. If using Bluetooth, verify the device is paired and playing audio. Try a different cable or source.
Can I connect a subwoofer?
Yes, the AI40W has a subwoofer pre-out on the back of the right speaker. You can connect an active subwoofer to this output for enhanced low frequencies.
How do I reset the speakers to factory settings?
Turn off the speakers. Press and hold the 'Pair' button on the remote while turning the power on. Continue holding for 5 seconds until the LED flashes rapidly. Release and then power cycle the speakers.
Is the remote control included?

What are the dimensions of each speaker?
Each speaker measures approximately 11.5 x 7.2 x 8.8 inches (292 x 183 x 224 mm). The pair weighs about 12.5 lbs (5.7 kg).

Introduction

Fluance believes everyone should experience audio in its truest form, recreating the performance the way the artist intended. Utilizing only superior components and expert audio engineering, their products are a testament to the performance that can be achieved when a passion for music takes center stage. The perfect complement to any audiophile's lifestyle, you'll be enjoying live performances in your home for years to come.

Break-in Period

Our speakers have a Butyl rubber ring surrounding the cone. The break-in period allows the rubber to loosen and stretch, allowing the cone a larger range of movement, which gives a better sound reproduction. We recommend 10-12 hours of play at moderate volume to achieve this.
