Frequently Asked Questions - DS 9430 SX BEKO

How do I clean the lint filter?
Open the door, pull the filter upwards to remove it, open the filter and remove lint with your hand or a soft brush. Close the filter and slide it back into place. Clean after every cycle.
Why is my dryer not heating?
Check if the program selected is a cool air program. Also ensure the lint filter and condenser are clean. If issue persists, the heating element may need replacement.
How often should I clean the condenser?
Clean the condenser unit at least once a month or when the condenser indicator light appears. Remove the lower front panel, pull out the condenser, rinse with water, and dry before reinserting.
What does the 'Water Tank Full' indicator mean?
It means the water tank needs to be emptied. Pull out the water tank, empty it, and slide it back. The indicator will turn off.
Can I dry wool or silk in this dryer?
Yes, the dryer has specific Wool and Silk programs. Use a low temperature and small load. Always check the garment care label first.
How do I activate the child lock?
Press and hold the Child Lock button (usually indicated by a padlock icon) for 3 seconds. The display will show the lock symbol. Repeat to deactivate.
The drum is not turning. What should I do?
Check if the door is properly closed. If the problem persists, the drive belt may be broken. Contact an authorized service center for repair.
What is the maximum load for the cotton program?
The maximum load for the Cotton program is 9 kg. Overloading can reduce drying performance and increase energy consumption.
Why is the drying time longer than expected?
Longer drying times can occur due to a heavily loaded drum, damp laundry, or a clogged lint filter or condenser. Also, room temperature affects drying performance.
How do I reset the dryer?
Turn the program selector knob to the Off position or press the On/Off button. Unplug the dryer for 1 minute then plug back in. Select a program and start.
