Tips for Keeping Food in the Unit
◆ Store raw meat and fish in suitable containers in the refrigerator, so that it is not in contact with or drip onto other food. Cooked meats/fishes should always be stored on a shelf above raw meats/fishes to avoid bacterial transfer. Keep raw meats/fishes in a container which is large enough to collect juices and cover it properly. Place the container on the lowest shelf. Leave space around your food, to allow air to circulate inside the unit. Ensure all parts of the unit are kept cool. ◆ To prevent transfer of favors and drying out, pack or cover the food separately. Fruit and vegetables do not need to be wrapped. ◆ Always let pre-cooked food cool down before you put in the unit. This will help to maintain the internal temperature of the unit. ◆ To avoid contamination of the food, please respect the following instructions:
- Opening the door for long periods can cause a significant increase in the temperature in the compartments of the appliance.
- Clean regularly surfaces that can come in contact with food and accessible drainage systems.
- Clean water tanks if they have not been used for 48 hours; flush the water system connected to a water supply if water has not been drawn for 5 days.
- To prevent cold air escaping from the unit, try to limit the number of times you open the door. We recommend that you only open the door when you need to put food in or take food out.
- In case your device has a freezing compartment with 4 stars, this refrigerating appliance is suitable for freezing foodstuffs.
In case your device has a freezing compartment with 1, 2, or 3 stars, this refrigerating appliance is NOT suitable for freezing foodstuffs.
- Two-star frozen-food compartments are suitable for storing pre-frozen food, storing or making ice cream, and making ice cubes.
- One-, two-, and three-star compartments are not suitable for the freezing of fresh food.
- If the refrigerating appliance is left empty for long periods, switch off, defrost, clean, dry, and leave the door open to prevent mould developing within the appliance.
The First Start
Cleaning Before Use
Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda. Then rinse with warm water using a 'wrung-out' sponge or cloth. Wash the shelves and salad bin in warm soapy water and dry completely before replacing in the unit.
Clean the exterior of the unit with a damp cloth.
If you require more information, refer to the Cleaning section.

Before Plugging In
You must check that you have a socket which is compatible with the plug supplied with the unit.
Before Turning On!
Do not turn on until one hour after moving the unit.
The refrigerator shall run 2 to 3 hours before loading fresh or frozen foods; the refrigerator shall run for more than 4 hours in summer in advance considering that the ambient temperature is high.
Operation
Switching On Your Unit
◆ The temperature selector knob is located inside of the refrigerator compartment.
When the Thermostat knob is turned up to the end position, below the "Min" position (1), the Refrigerator will stop cooling.
Setting "MIN" (1-2): Less Cool Temperature
Setting "MED" (3-4): Normal Operation (adequate for most situations)
Setting "MAX" (5-6): Coolest Temperature

During high ambient temperatures, e.g., on hot summer days, it may be necessary to set the thermostat to the coolest setting (position "MAX" (5-6), turn knob clockwise). This may cause the compressor to run continuously in order to maintain a low temperature in the cabinet. ◆ For the first time you install your refrigerator, set the thermostat knob at "MED" (3-4) (middle position).
Give your freezer time to cool down completely before adding food. It is best to wait 24 hours before adding food. The thermostat knob controls the temperature.
◆ When the thermostat control knob is set to OFF position, the refrigerator will be running.
WARNING: In the lowest thermostat position, although the fridge is not cooling, it does not mean that the device is disconnected from the power supply. For cleaning and maintenance, to disconnect the power supply, pull the power plug out of the socket!
Noise Inside the Unit!
You may notice that your unit makes some unusual noises. Most of these are perfectly normal, but you should be aware of them!
These noises are caused by the circulation of the refrigerant liquid in the cooling system. It has become more pronounced since the introduction of CFC-free gases. This is not a fault and will not affect the performance of your unit. This is the compressor motor working, as it pumps the refrigerant around the system.
Change the Light Bulb
The LED lamp must be replaced by authorized service. Please contact authorized service or manufacturer.
![graph LR A["LED"] <--> B["Robot Icon"] B --> C["LED"]](/content/2026/06/1364561/images/997769ad973092bf321f647af6d233aee099c98d8718aa6ed92edc81c27fb86f.jpg)
Maintenance of Refrigerator
Cleaning

Please unplug the refrigerator for defrost and cleaning.
Dusts behind the refrigerator and on the ground shall be timely cleaned to improve the cooling effect and energy saving.
The interior of the refrigerator should be cleaned regularly to avoid odor. Soft towels or sponge dipped in water and non-corrosive neutral detergents are suggested for cleaning. The freezer shall be finally cleaned with clean water and dry cloth. Open the door for natural drying before the power is turned on.

- Remove all the shelves and the salad bin. To remove the salad bin, first remove the lower door shelf. Wipe the inside of the unit with a weak solution of bicarbonate soda and then rinse with
- warm water using a "wrung-out" sponge or cloth. Wipe completely dry before replacing the shelves and salad bin. Use a damp cloth to clean the exterior, and then wipe with a standard furniture polish. Make
- sure that the door is closed to avoid the polish getting on the magnetic door seal or inside the unit.
- The grille of the condenser at the back of the unit and the adjacent components can be vacuumed using a soft brush attachment.
Cleaning Tips
Condensation may appear on the outside of the unit. This may be due to a change in room temperature. Wipe off any moisture residue. If the problem continues, please contact a qualified technician for assistance.
Do not use hard brushes, steel balls, wire brushes, abrasives, such as toothpastes, organic solvents (such as alcohol, acetone, banana oil, etc.), boiling water, acid or alkaline items to clean the refrigerator, considering that this may damage the fridge surface and interior.
Do not rinse with water so as not to affect the electrical insulation properties. Please use a dry cloth when cleaning lighting lamps, temperature control knob and electrical components.
Defrost
Defrost the freezing compartment whenever the layer of frost on the surface of the evaporator reaches 3 or 4 mm.
- Set the thermostat at "OFF" position and disconnect the refrigerator from main supply.
- Remove drawers with frozen food. Store frozen food in a cold place.
- Put the drip tray under the evaporator to collect melted water. To improve melting, you can put a bowl with hot water inside the compartment.
- After the frost has melted, discard the melted water and clean all the interior.
- Dry up the interior of the refrigerator.
- Put drawers into the compartment and put back frozen foods.
- Plug in the refrigerator to the main supply and turn the thermostat to the desired setting.
It is recommended that you use frozen food as soon as possible.

Do not use metal utensils or electric heaters for defrosting so as not to damage the appliance.
Please remove the food and put it in a cool place when defrosting before removing drawers and other accessories.
Switching Off for Long Periods of Time
Foods can be preserved for a couple of hours even in summer in case of power failure; it is recommended to reduce the frequency of opening the door and do not put fresh foods into the freezer.
When the unit is not in use for a long period of time, disconnect it from the mains supply, empty all food and clean the appliance. Keep the door open to avoid bad odor.

Continuous operation is recommended when the refrigerator is started.
Please do not move the refrigerator under normal circumstances so as not to affect the refrigerator's service life.
Frequently asked questions
The following simple issues can be handled by the user. Please call the after-sale service department if the issues are not settled.
| Refrigerator is not work | Whether the freezer is plugged and connected to power; Low voltage;Failure power or tripping circuit |
| Odor | Odorous foods should closely wrapped; Whether foods are rotten;Whether the interior shall be cleaned |

Tips for Energy Savings
Try not to open the door too often, especially when the weather is wet and hot. Once you open the door, close it as soon as possible.
Every now and then check if the appliance is sufficiently ventilated (adequate air circulation behind the appliance).
In normal temperature conditions, please arrange the thermostat at the middle setting.
Before loading the appliance with packages of fresh food, make sure they are cooled to ambient temperature.
Ice and frost layer increase energy consumption, so clean the appliance as soon as the layer is 3-5 mm thick.
If it is the outer condenser, the rear wall should be always clean free of dust or any impurities.
- The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of the direct sunlight.
◆ Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing in the appliance.
◆ Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer.
◆ Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality, or spoil.
- Be sure to wrap foods properly, and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
◆ Appliance storage bin should not be lined with aluminum foil, wax paper, or paper toweling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
◆ Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches.
◆ Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible
