How do I clean the blender after use?

Fill the jug halfway with warm water and a drop of dish soap, then run the blender on low speed for 20 seconds. Rinse thoroughly and dry. The jug, lid and blade assembly can also be washed in the dishwasher (top rack). Do not immerse the motor base in water.

Can I blend hot liquids?

No, do not blend hot liquids (above 60°C) as they can cause pressure buildup and lead to the lid popping off or injury. Always let liquids cool before blending.

The blender won't start. What should I check?

Ensure the jug is properly seated on the base and the lid is locked securely. Check that the plug is fully inserted and the outlet is working. Also verify the speed dial is not set to '0' or 'OFF'.

Can I crush ice with this blender?

Yes, the KBTB5027 is designed to crush ice. Use the pulse function in short bursts. For best results, add a little water or other liquid.

What is the maximum capacity?

The jug has a maximum capacity of 1.5 liters. Do not fill beyond the MAX line indicated on the jug to avoid spills and overloading.

Are spare parts available?

Yes, you can order spare parts such as the jug, blade assembly, lid and measuring cup from Kubo or authorized retailers. Contact customer service for details.

How long can I run the blender continuously?

Do not operate the blender for more than 1 minute continuously. Allow the motor to cool for at least 2 minutes between cycles to prevent overheating.

The blade assembly is stuck. How do I remove it?

Unplug the blender. Hold the jug with one hand and turn the blade assembly counterclockwise while pressing gently. If still stuck, soak the jug in warm soapy water for a few minutes and try again.

What does the pulse function do?

The pulse function gives short bursts of high speed power for chopping or blending coarse ingredients. Press the pulse button for a few seconds and release; repeat as needed.

The blender leaks from the bottom. What's wrong?

Check that the blade assembly is properly tightened onto the jug. Also ensure the sealing ring (gasket) is in place and not damaged. If the gasket is worn, replace it with a new one.

1.1. Power Supply

Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.

1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables

Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.

Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.

Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.

1.3. Humidity and Water

Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).

1.4. Cleaning

Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.

To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.

• Do not put the cable on a hot surface or hang if from the kitchen table. Your children can be hurt when they are trying to drag the cable and turn down the blender.

• Switch off the blender and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or moving parts.

• Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

2.2. Product usage

BEFORE CONNECTING TO POWER

- Before connecting to power, check whether the type of supply and the mains voltage match with the details given on the rating label on the appliance.

- When using it for the first time, remove all wrapping paper and plastic bags. Clean the fittings. (refer to cleaning method).

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

• Insert the jar onto the motor unit and make sure the jar is well placed down.
• Wash fruit/vegetables first and slice them into small pieces – about 2 cm.
• Place the sliced fruit/vegetables into the jar.
• Before blending, add the desired amount of water or liquid mixture into the jar. Make sure the preparation does not fill the jar over the highest standard line. You can see the highest standard line marked on the jar.
  • Fit the lid into the jar firmly.
• Plug the appliance in and then turn the speed button to position 1, 2, 3 or 4. For ice, we suggest using the Pulse speed.
• Do not keep the blender in operation for more than 2 min. If the case motor overheats, cool down the blender for 20 min. before the next operation.
• After blending, turn the speed button to 0 position. Wait for the motor unit to stop and the remove the jar.

2.3. Maintenance

• Before cleaning it, remove the power cord from the socket.
• Never immerse the housing with motor in water!
• Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.

• Only a damp rinsing cloth should be used to clean the outside of the housing.
• Components that have come into contact with food can be cleaned in soapy water.
• Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.

KUBO has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
