Important Warnings
Before using your appliance read this instructions manual carefully and keep it in a safe place as you may need to consult it in the future.
Before turning on your appliance, and to ensure a safe and correct operation, do not use if:
• It has fallen to the ground;
- You notice any evidence of damage;
- Any anomaly occurs during its operation.
To avoid hazards or deterioration of your appliance through incorrect use it is advisable to read these instructions thoroughly.
Your appliance may not be used for other purposes than the ones intended and solely for household use. Any damage resulting from using
the appliance outside this scope, any incorrect use, as well as any manual modifications to the product will not be covered and automatically voids the warranty.
Assistance
In case of malfunction, take your appliance to the Customer Support Service for assistance.
This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years.
Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance.

1.1. Power Supply
Make sure the main voltage is compatible with the appliance's. If this is not the case please consult the Customer Support Service.
1.2. Power Cord and Other Cables
Do not tangle the cord or pull it to disconnect the appliance. Also, keep the cord away from warm surfaces.
Never use the appliance if it has a damaged cable or socket.
Take it to the Technical Support Service for replacement.
1.3. Humidity and Water
Do not use your appliance in humid places. Do not allow the appliance to become wet under any circumstances as this may be dangerous. To avoid fire hazard or electric shock do not expose your appliance to humidity or water. Furthermore, do not place your appliance under water (e.g. for cleaning).
1.4. Cleaning
Before cleaning, be sure to switch off the appliance and remove the plug from the main power supply. Always allow the unit to cool down before cleaning.
To clean the exterior of the product use a dry soft cloth only.
1.5. General Precautions

- Special cares need to be paid when preparing food for a baby, an elderly or a patient. Before using the machine, you should be sure that the accessories have been completely sterilized.
- Do not touch the blending blade when connecting to power.
- Keep your fingers, hair, clothes and other objects a distance from the machine when its blades are rotating.

- Pull the plug off when changing fittings or after use.
- Do not mix hot oil or oily ingredients.
- Children or other people who do not know how to operate this machine should avoid using it, unless they are under proper instruction.
- Do not dip the blender's body into water or damp the cable, as you will get an electronic shock. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the blender.
- Do not put the cable on a hot surface or hang if from the kitchen table. Your children can be hurt when they are trying to drag the cable and turn down the blender.
- If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacture of its service agent or a similar qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.
- Switch off the blender and disconnect it from the power supply before changing accessories or moving parts.

Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.

When using the blender, do not operate it without food. Do not operate the blender over 20 seconds when it is unloaded.
- Always disconnect the blender from the power supply if left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
2. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS
2.1. Product Description

2.2. Product usage
BEFORE CONNECTING TO POWER
- Before connecting to power, check whether the type of supply and the mains voltage match with the details given on the rating label on the appliance.

- When using it for the first time, remove all wrapping paper and plastic bags. Clean the fittings. (refer to cleaning method).
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
- Insert the jar onto the motor unit and make sure the jar is well placed down.
- Wash fruit/vegetables first and slice them into small pieces – about 2 cm.
- Place the sliced fruit/vegetables into the jar.
- Before blending, add the desired amount of water or liquid mixture into the jar. Make sure the preparation does not fill the jar over the highest standard line. You can see the highest standard line marked on the jar.
• Fit the lid into the jar firmly. - Plug the appliance in and then turn the speed button to position 1, 2, 3 or 4. For ice, we suggest using the Pulse speed.
- Do not keep the blender in operation for more than 2 min. If the case motor overheats, cool down the blender for 20 min. before the next operation.
- After blending, turn the speed button to 0 position. Wait for the motor unit to stop and the remove the jar.
2.3. Maintenance
- Before cleaning it, remove the power cord from the socket.
- Never immerse the housing with motor in water!
- Do not use any sharp or abrasive detergents.

- Only a damp rinsing cloth should be used to clean the outside of the housing.
- Components that have come into contact with food can be cleaned in soapy water.
- Allow the parts to dry thoroughly before reassembling the device.
3. POST-SALE SERVICE
KUBO has designed this appliance in order to guarantee maximum reliability. However, if a problem occurs do not attempt to open the appliance - there is a risk of electrical shock. If you are not able to solve the problem, please contact the Costumer Support Service of any Worten, Modelo or Continente store in order to be assisted. Worten Equipamentos para o Lar provides a 2-year warranty for manufacturing defects from the date of purchase of the appliance.
WARNING: Any attempt to repair the appliance without contacting the manufacturer or seller will void the warranty.
All users must be familiar with these instructions. Knowing what could go wrong can help prevent problems from occurring.
4. ENVIRONMENTAL PROTECTION
In order to protect the environment we strive to reduce the volume of packaging used, limiting it to three easily sorted materials: cardboard, paper and plastic. The appliance is manufactured using recyclable materials after disassembled by a specialized company. Please comply with local regulations concerning the recycling of all materials.
