Frequently Asked Questions - Aircooler EV250.BK DELONGHI

How do I fill the water tank on my DeLonghi EV250.BK air cooler?
Open the water tank cap located at the top or side of the unit (refer to manual). Fill with clean tap water up to the MAX level line. Do not exceed. For enhanced cooling, add ice cubes to the designated ice compartment.
How often should I clean the cooling pad and filter?
Clean the cooling pad every 2-3 months depending on usage and water quality. The dust filter should be cleaned weekly. Use mild detergent and rinse thoroughly. Air dry before reassembling.
Why is my air cooler not blowing cold air?
Make sure the water tank is filled and the cooling pad is damp. If the evaporative cooling is not working, the pad may be scaled or blocked. Clean or replace the cooling pad. Also, ensure the unit is in cooling mode (fan icon with water droplet).
Can I use the DeLonghi EV250.BK without water?
Yes, it can be used as a regular fan without water. Select the fan-only mode. The cooling pads will remain dry, and no evaporation will occur.
How do I replace the remote control battery?
The remote uses a CR2025 coin cell battery. Slide the battery compartment cover on the back of the remote, remove the old battery, insert the new one with the + side facing up, and close the cover.
The oscillation stopped working. What should I check?
Ensure the unit is not in manual oscillation lock mode. Check if the oscillation gear is jammed. Turn off the unit, unplug it, and gently rotate the fan head manually to free it. If problem persists, contact support.
What is the maximum operating time on timer?
The timer can be set up to 7 hours. Press the Timer button repeatedly to set the desired shut-off time. The display will show the remaining time.
Is the DeLonghi EV250.BK suitable for large rooms?
This model is designed for medium-sized rooms up to approximately 20-25 m². For larger spaces, consider placing it near you for a direct cooling breeze.
How do I store the air cooler during winter?
Clean and dry the water tank, cooling pad, and filter thoroughly. Store the unit in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Cover it to prevent dust accumulation.
Where can I purchase replacement parts for my EV250.BK?
Replacement parts such as cooling pads, filters, remote control, and motors are available on the DeLonghi official website or authorized service centers. Use the model number EV250.BK for accurate parts.
