SAFETY PRECAUTIONS
When using electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the following:
This refrigerator must be properly installed and located in accordance with the Installation Instructions before it is used. - Do not attempt to stand on top of the refrigerator. Doing so may result in bodily injury or damage to the refrigerator. - Do not allow children to play with the refrigerator or tamper with the controls. - Do not allow children to climb, stand or hang on the shelves in the refrigerator. They could damage the refrigerator and seriously injure themselves. - Do not touch the cold surfaces in the freezer compartment when hands are damp or wet. Skin may stick to these extremely cold surfaces. - Do not store or use gasoline or other flammable vapours and liquids in the vicinity of this or any other appliance. - Keep fingers out of the “pinch point” areas; clearances between the doors and between the doors and cabinet are necessarily small. Be careful closing doors when children are in the area. ■ Unplug the refrigerator before cleaning and making repairs. NOTE: We strongly recommend that any servicing be performed by a qualified individual. - Do not refreeze frozen foods which have thawed completely.
DANGER! RISK OF CHILD ENTRAPMENT
PROPER DISPOSAL OF THE REFRIGERATOR
Child entrapment and suffocation are not problems of the past. Junked or abandoned refrigerators are still dangerous...even if they will sit for "just a few days." If you are getting rid of your old refrigerator, please follow the instructions below to help prevent accidents.
Before You Throw Away Your Old Refrigerator or Freezer:
Take off the doors and discard separately. Leave the shelves in place so that children may not easily climb inside. If the refrigerator has a lock, make it unusable.
Refrigerants
All refrigeration products contain refrigerants, which under federal law must be removed prior to product disposal. If you are getting rid of an old refrigeration product, check with the company handling the disposal about what to do.
WARNING!
HOW TO CONNECT ELECTRICITY
The power cord of this appliance is equipped with an earthing plug which mates with a standard earthed wall outlet to minimize the possibility of electric shock hazard from this appliance. Have the wall outlet and circuit checked by a qualified electrician to make sure the outlet is properly earthed. Where an unearthed wall outlet is encountered, it is your personal responsibility and obligation to have it replaced with a properly earthed wall outlet.
The refrigerator should always be plugged into its own individual electrical outlet.
This provides the best performance and also prevents overloading house wiring circuits which could cause a fire hazard from overheated wires.
Please refer to the rating plate on the refrigerator for the correct voltage, wattage and frequency. If the product plug does not fit your outlet, the product should be fitted with a new plug.

IMPORTANT: The fitting of electric plugs and cables should be done by a qualified technician or service agent. In some countries the fitting of electric plugs and cables is only permitted when the work is completed by a qualified technician. If the power supply cord becomes damaged, it must be replaced by a qualified service agent in order to avoid a safety hazard.
Never unplug your refrigerator by pulling on the power cord. Always grip plug firmly and pull straight out from the outlet.
Repair or replace immediately all power cords that have become frayed or otherwise damaged. Do not use a cord that shows cracks or abrasion damage along its length or at either end.
When moving the refrigerator away from the wall, be careful not to roll over or damage the power cord.
Mains lead replacement
If the mains lead on your refrigerator needs replacing at any time, it must be replaced by a special lead which is obtainable from your local dealer. A charge will be made for the replacement of the mains lead if you have damaged the lead.
The refrigerator must be positioned so that the plug is accessible.
READ AND FOLLOW THIS SAFETY INFORMATION CAREFULLY.

-2004/108/EEC EMC Directive
Disposal of the appliance
It is prohibited to dispose of this appliance in domestic household waste.
For disposal there are several possibilities:
a) The municipality has established collection systems, where electronic waste can be disposed of at least free of charge to the user. b) The manufacturer will take back the old appliance for disposal at least free of charge to the user. c) As old products contain valuable resources, they can be sold to scrap metal dealers.
Wild disposal of waste in forests and landscapes endangers your health when hazardous substances leak into the groundwater and find their way into the food chain.

This appliance is manufactured using recyclable material.
This appliance is marked in compliance with European Directive 2002/96/EC on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE). Meaning of crossed out wheeled dustbin:
Do not dispose of electrical appliances as unsorted municipal waste, use separate collection facilities.

This symbol on the product or in the instructions means that your electrical and electronic equipment should be disposed of at the end of its life separately from your household waste. There are separate collection systems for recycling in the EU. For more information, please contact the local authority or your retailer where you purchased the product.
Energy Saving Tips
- The appliance should be located in the coolest area of the room, away from heat-producing appliances or heating ducts, and out of direct sunlight.
- Let hot foods cool to room temperature before placing them in the appliance. Overloading the appliance forces the compressor to run longer. Foods that freeze too slowly may lose quality or spoil.
- Be sure to wrap foods properly and wipe containers dry before placing them in the appliance. This cuts down on frost build-up inside the appliance.
- The appliance storage bin should not be lined with aluminium foil, wax paper, or paper towelling. Liners interfere with cold air circulation, making the appliance less efficient.
- Organize and label food to reduce door openings and extended searches. Remove as many items as needed at one time, and close the door as soon as possible.

REFRIGERATOR COMPARTMENTS
Due to air circulation in the refrigerator, temperatures vary in all parts of the refrigerator. Therefore, different types of food should be placed in areas with different temperatures.
- The shelf space on the refrigerator door (2 stars) is used for short-term storage of food and ice cream.
- The shelf space is used for storing frozen food.
- Glass shelves are used for storing frozen food: fish, meat, and ice cream.
- Ice maker.
- Ice storage box.
- Drawers are used for storing fish, meat, and poultry in packaging.
Useful tips
- The refrigerator must be connected to a 220~240V-50Hz electrical supply. If voltage fluctuations are too large (outside the range of 187-242V), this can cause operational problems: the refrigerator may not start, the control panel and compressor may overheat, and the compressor's operating noise will not be normal. If you notice such problems, we recommend installing an automatic voltage regulator rated above 750 W. The refrigerator's power cord has three wires (including ground) and fits standard grounded wall outlets. Under no circumstances should you attempt to cut or disconnect the ground wire on the power cord. After placing the refrigerator in its permanent location, the wall outlet must always be easily accessible. The plug must be firmly connected to the wall outlet; otherwise, overheating and fire may occur.
- Never unplug the refrigerator by pulling the power cord; always grasp the plug and pull it out of the wall outlet. Make sure the power cord is not pinched by the refrigerator or surrounding objects, or stepped on by people. Be careful when moving the refrigerator away from the wall. Do not use the power cord or wall outlet if they are damaged or frayed. Do not replace a damaged cord yourself; contact an authorized service center.
- If gas accidentally leaks in your home, immediately close the main gas valve. Open all windows and in that case, do not unplug the refrigerator or other electrical appliances from the wall outlet.
- Do not place flammable liquids such as gasoline, alcohol, etc., in or near the refrigerator. Do not place bottled drinks in the freezer, as the bottles will crack due to freezing.
- Do not use solvents or other flammable substances near the refrigerator, as this may cause a fire.
- For safety reasons, do not place electrical appliances such as microwave ovens, voltage regulators, etc., on top of the refrigerator. Do not use electrical appliances inside the refrigerator (except those recommended by the manufacturer) to prevent electromagnetic interference or other accidents.
- Be careful and do not allow children to enter or climb on the refrigerator, as this may cause serious injury.
- When the refrigerator is operating, be careful not to touch frozen surfaces in the freezer with your hands, especially if your hands are wet or damp, as this may cause injury (frostbite).
- The gap between the refrigerator door and the freezer door, and between the doors and the body of the refrigerator, is very narrow. Be careful not to put your fingers in these spaces, as this may cause injury. Make sure children are not near the refrigerator when you close or open the doors.
- Do not spray or rinse the refrigerator directly with water, and do not place the refrigerator in a damp room or in a place where it may be exposed to weather conditions (rain), as this may adversely affect the electrical insulation of the refrigerator.
