Frequently Asked Questions - DU 8133 GA0W BEKO

How do I clean the lint filter?
Open the door, pull the lint filter out from the door area, remove the lint by hand or a soft brush, rinse under running water if needed, dry completely, and reinsert. Clean after every cycle to maintain performance.
What should I do if the dryer does not start?
Check that the door is fully closed, the power cord is plugged in, the circuit breaker is not tripped, and the program is set correctly. Also ensure the water tank is not full and the filters are clean.
Can I install the dryer under a countertop?
Yes, the dryer is freestanding and can be placed under a countertop as long as there is adequate ventilation. Leave at least 2 cm clearance on sides and 10 cm at the back.
How do I empty the water tank?
Pull out the water tank usually located at the top or bottom front (depending on model), pour out the water, and reinsert. The machine will stop if the tank is full.
What does the 'Filter Cleaning' warning mean?
It indicates that the lint filter needs cleaning. Press the start/pause button after cleaning to reset the warning. If it persists, check the condenser filter as well.
Why is my laundry still wet after a cycle?
Possible reasons: overloaded drum, incorrect program selected, clogged filters, or the room temperature is too high. Ensure the load is appropriate for the program.
How do I change the door opening direction?
The door is reversible. Remove the door hinge screws, swap the door catch, and reattach the door on the opposite side. Refer to the manual for step-by-step instructions.
What is the maximum load for cotton programs?
For cotton programs, the maximum dry load is 8 kg. Overloading may result in poor drying performance and increased wrinkles.
How often should the condenser be cleaned?
The condenser should be cleaned every 3-6 months depending on usage. Remove the condenser unit by the access panel, rinse with water, dry, and reinstall.
What error code E01 means?
Error code E01 indicates a problem with the door lock. Check that the door is properly closed and the latch is not obstructed. If the error persists, contact a service technician.
