Frequently Asked Questions - RC71_RC14 021 HOOVER

How do I empty the dust tank of my Hoover RC71_RC14 021 vacuum cleaner?
To empty the dust tank, press the release button on top of the dust tank, remove it, and empty its contents into a trash bin. You can rinse the tank with warm water and dry it completely before putting it back in place.
How do I clean the HEPA filter?
The HEPA filter is located behind the tank grille. Remove it and gently tap it to remove dust. For a deep clean, wash it with cold water (no detergent) and let it air dry for 24 hours before reinstalling.
What should I do if the vacuum cleaner does not turn on?
First check that the wall socket is working and the power cord is properly plugged in. Make sure the on/off switch is in the 'I' position. If the problem persists, check the socket's fuse or contact Hoover after-sales service.
Why is the suction low?
Weak suction may be due to a full dust tank, a clogged filter, or a blockage in the hose or nozzle. Empty the tank, clean the filter, and check that no object is blocking the air passage.
How do I replace the HEPA filter?
The HEPA filter should be replaced every 6 to 12 months depending on usage. To change it, remove the old filter and insert the new one following the indicated mounting direction. Make sure it is securely clipped in.
How do I rewind the power cord?
To rewind the cord, hold the plug and press the automatic cord rewind pedal at the back of the vacuum. Let the cord retract while gently guiding the plug to avoid knots.
What types of nozzles are included with the vacuum?
The vacuum comes with a floor nozzle (ideal for carpets and hardwood floors), an upholstery nozzle (for sofas and curtains), and a crevice tool (for corners and baseboards).
Where can I buy spare parts for my Hoover RC71_RC14 021?
Spare parts (filters, nozzles, etc.) are available on the Hoover official website, from authorized dealers, or through after-sales service. Use the model number RC71_RC14 021 to find compatible parts.
What should I do if the vacuum makes an abnormal noise?
An abnormal noise may indicate a blockage in the hose or nozzle, or an object stuck in the brush. Turn off the appliance, unplug it, and inspect the ducts. Remove any obstacle. If the noise persists, contact after-sales service.
How do I store the vacuum?
Store the vacuum in a dry, dust-free place. Wind the power cord, attach the nozzles to the designated holder, and make sure the tank is empty and the filter is clean. Avoid placing heavy objects on the appliance.
