We thank you sincerely for having chosen the Joycare Manicure and Pedicure Set. This product has been conceived for the beauty and wellness of your hands and feet nails. Before starting using this appliance, it is advisable to read carefully this instruction manual. It is also advisable to save this manual for a future use.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

Use this product only for its intended purpose, as described in this instruction manual. Any other use is improper and therefore hazardous. Use only original components. Before starting using the appliance, please check that the product is in perfect conditions, without damages. In case of doubts, please address to a specialised centre. Never sit or stand on the product heavily. Never use the appliance while you are having a bath or a shower. Never store the appliance in places from where it can easily fall into a basin or a tub. Never dip the product in water and never store it is damp places. NEVER TRY TO REACH THE PRODUCT INTO WATER. Always store the product away from heating sources, sunlight, dampness and sharp objects. Do no place the appliance under blankets or pillow, as excessive heating may occur thus causing fire, electric shocks or other injuries to the user. Do not operate where aerosol (spray) products are being used or whether oxygen is being administrate. Check regularly the product: in case of damages, do not use the appliance. Never try to repair the product by yourself but always address to specialised centres. The product is for indoor use only. Do not insert objects into any openings. Do not block air inlets. Do not use the appliance for more than 20 minutes at a time. Too long usage could lead to an overheating and consequently a product shorter life. In case longer usage

is necessary, it is advisable to stop the appliance for 15minutes, let it cooling down and then start the unit again. In order to avoid possible infections, only one person should use the device. In case the product should be used by more than one person, it is advisable to replace attachments.

Avoid any contacts of the products with aggressive detergents, chemicals and similar ones. Never use the product if you are sleeping or if you feel drowsy. Never use the product in case of skin eruptions on your hands or feet. Before using the appliance, please address to your physician if you are suffering from diabetes or vascular disorders. Check the result of your manicure/pedicure each time. This is important for those suffering from diabetes and who are subject to a densification of the skin surface, and may be injured.

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.

HOW TO USE THE APPLIANCE

• Insert the batteries into the specific compartment, taking care to position the polarities as shown.
• The manicure/pedicure set is now ready for use.
• Attach the desired accessory (depending on the operation you which to perform, as specified below). A specific switch on the appliance allows you to choose from two speeds in each direction.

Manicure/Pedicure

Immerge your hands in warm, soapy water. Dry carefully.

Disc to file and shorten nails

This accessory can shape and re-define even the thickest, hardened nails. Regular use makes nails stronger and more hardwearing. Suitable for both fingernails and toenails.

Polishing disc

To polish and refine the tips of the nails after filing, and to polish the nail surface.

Remove cuticles (fine-grain precision head)

To remove and raise hardened cuticles and to clean nails

Wide head for manicures

To treat and polish toenails

Slim polishing head (to remove calluses)

Allow the accessory to slide carefully over the areas to be treated. After treatment, immerge feet (or hands) in water and apply a moisturising cream or lotion (creams and lotions not supplied). For best results, wash feet before beginning pedicure treatment

CLEANING THE PRODUCT

Before clearing the product, ensure that you have removed the batteries. Never immerge the central unit in other liquids. Clean the central unit and case with a soft cloth, slightly dampened with water. Never use other liquids or abrasive detergents. Always dry carefully. To clean the accessories: use a soft brush to remove any residues of skin and nails. The discs and conical heads can be cleaned with a soft brush, dampened with alcohol (brush not included)
