How to connect the WAS5 to the Wi-Fi network?

On the front panel, press Menu, then select Network > Wi-Fi. Choose your network and enter the password using the remote control.

Can I use Bluetooth to stream my music?

Yes, enable Bluetooth on your device and select Philips WAS5 from the list. You can also press the Bluetooth button on the receiver to make it discoverable.

How to perform a firmware update?

Make sure the WAS5 is connected to the Internet. Go to Menu > Settings > Software update. Follow the on-screen instructions. Do not cut the power during the update.

The screen displays 'No Network'. What to do?

Check that your router is on and the WAS5 is within range. If the problem persists, restart the router and the receiver. You can also try a wired Ethernet connection.

How to play music from a USB flash drive?

Insert the USB drive into the USB port on the back. Use the remote to select USB as the source. Navigate folders with the arrow keys.

Can I listen to Internet radio?

Yes, from the main menu, choose Internet Radio. You can search stations by name, genre, or country. Add favorites by pressing Preset.

Sound is distorted or low. How to adjust?

Check volume settings on the WAS5 and your source. Make sure speakers are properly connected. You can adjust Bass and Treble in the Audio menu.

How to reset the device to factory settings?

Press and hold the Reset button on the back for 5 seconds. Or, go to Menu > Settings > Reset and confirm. All settings will be erased.

What type of power adapter is it?

The supplied adapter is a model with a 100-240V mains plug. It delivers 12V DC / 1.5 A. Use only the original Philips adapter.

How to clean the WAS5?

Unplug the device. Use a soft, slightly damp (not wet) cloth to wipe the surface. Never use solvents, alcohol, or abrasive products. Avoid liquid entering openings.
