For your safety

Before use, read these instructions carefully in order to become familiar with important safety and operating instructions for this appliance.

If the instructions for correct use of the appliance are not observed, the manufacturer's liability for any resulting damage will be excluded.
This appliance is designed for processing normal household quantities in the home or similar quantities in non-industrial applications. Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in employee kitchens in shops, offices, agricultural and other commercial businesses, as well as use by guests in boarding houses, small hotels and similar dwellings.
Use the appliance for processing normal quantities of food for domestic use.
The appliance is only suitable for cutting
or mixing food. It must not be used for processing other objects or substances.
Please keep the operating instructions in a safe place. If passing on the appliance to a third party, always include the operating instructions.

Electric shock risk

The appliance must not be used by children.
The appliance and its power cord must be kept away from children. Appliances can be used by persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved.
Children shall not play with the appliance. Connect and operate the appliance only in accordance with the specifications on the rating plate. Only use indoors. Do not use the appliance if the power cord and/or appliance are damaged.
Before replacing accessories or additional parts, which move during operation, switch off the appliance and disconnect from the power supply. Always disconnect the appliance from the supply if it is left unattended and before assembling, disassembling or cleaning.
Do not place the power cord over sharp edges or hot surfaces.
To prevent injury, a damaged power cord must be replaced by the manufacturer or his customer service or a similarly qualified person. Only our customer service may repair the appliance. Care shall be taken when handling the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl and during cleaning.
⚠️ Safety instructions for this appliance
Risk of injury Electric shock risk

Do not use the hand blender with damp hands and do not operate it at no load.
Do not immerse the appliance in liquid above the blender foot-base unit connection point. Never immerse the base unit in liquids and do not clean in the dishwasher.
Caution when processing hot liquids. Liquids may splash during processing.
Never place blender foot on hot surfaces or use in very hot food.
Leave hot food to cool down to at least 80°C before processing with the blender! Before using the hand blender in a cooking pot, take the pot off the hotplate.
Operate the hand blender with original accessories only.
Do not attach or remove tools until the appliance is at a standstill.
Recommendation: Never switch on the appliance for longer as you need to processing the ingredients.
The blender jug is not suitable for use in the microwave.
Risk of injury from sharp blades/rotating drive!

Never grip the blade in the blender foot. Never clean the blades with bare hands. Use a brush.

If motor stops during operation, unplug the appliance and cool it down for 5 minutes.

Overload protection switches on.
Possible causes:
• The food has jammed the blender blade.
- Too much pressure exerted on the food during the cutting process.
Eliminate the cause and switch on the appliance again after cooling period.
Wall mount (B1 & B2)

To fix the support to a wall, drill two holes
and attach the support by means of the wall plugs and screws which are supplied.
Use
The blender is suitable for preparing mayonnaise, puree, compotes, milkshakes, jams, baby food or for chopping up small quantities of walnuts or almonds
The blender is not suitable for preparing mashed potato.

- Slot the foot 5 onto the blender's motor housing 1 and twist it to the left (anticlockwise) (B3).
- Place the food you wish to process with the blender into the corresponding jug 7
- Hold the blender and the jug. To stop the food from splashing out during use, only switch the blender on or off when the foot is immersed in the food being processed.
To switch the blender on, press button 2 (B4). If you wish to use maximum speed during use, press button 3 (B4).
Speed selector
The speed selector allows you to set the speed for the type of food being processed. Low speeds are suitable for starting the blending process, churning, beating and mixing ingredients, as well as whipping egg whites. Higher speeds are suitable for beating eggs, preparing batters, etc. (B5).
Universal mincing accessory (Depending on the model)

Safety instructions for this appliance
Risk of injury from sharp blades/rotating drive!

Never grip the blade in the universal cutter. Take hold of the universal cutter blade by the plastic handle only. Never clean the blades with bare hands. Use a brush.
Risk of scalding!

When processing hot milk, use a tall, narrow receptacle for blending. Hot milk may splash and scald you.
Important!

Do not attach or remove accessories until the base unit is at a standstill.
Never use the hand blender/blender foot in the universal cutter. The universal cutter is not microwave-safe.
Never immerse the attachment of the universal cutter in liquids and do not clean under flowing water or in the dishwasher.
Never insert the whisk into the base unit without the gear attachment.
Never immerse the gear attachment in liquids and do not clean under flowing water or in the dishwasher.
The accessories can also be acquired individually at any Official Technical Service Centre for the brand (A).

If the universal cutter is not included with the hand blender it can be ordered from customer service (order no. 640686).

General safety warnings
⚠️ Danger of injury from sharp blades / rotary action
Never touch the blade on the mincing accessory! Never clean the blade on the mincing accessory by hand! Always use a brush. The mincing blade must only be held by the integrated plastic handle.

The adapter for the mincing blade must only be fitted or removed with the appliance switch off.

Use
To mince meat, chop hard cheeses, onions, aromatic herbs, garlic, fruit, vegetables, nuts and almonds (see the table in fig. (B8))
Clean the meat of any bones, gristle or sinews before mincing the it.

The mincing accessory is not suitable for grinding very hard products (e.g. coffee beans, turnips, nutmeg) or frozen foods. Figure (B6)
- Push the mincing accessory 9 down onto a flat, clean work surface
- Fit the blade 10 into the mincing accessory.
- Place in the food you wish to process with the mincer.
- Fit the adapter 11 onto the mincing accessory and twist it to the right (clockwise) until it clicks shut.
- Place the drive unit onto the adapter and twist it to the right (clockwise).
- Hold the drive unit and the mincing accessory and switch the appliance on.
- Fit the lid 12 to protect the food minced with the mincing accessory (B7).
Examples of use:
Grated cheese for pasta dishes.
Blend 200 g of moderately hard cheese Emmental, etc.) for ten second to obtain a thickly grated cheese, ideal for sprinkling over pasta dishes.

Only fit or remove the drive mechanism with the balloon whisk attached when the appliance is switched off.
Use
To whip cream, egg whites or milk (cold milk, maximum temperature 8°C)

- Slot the drive mechanism into
the blender's drive unit and twist it to the left (anticlockwise).
- Slot the balloon whisk into the drive mechanism.
- Place the food you wish to whisk into the jug.
- Hold the blender and the jug. Press the on/off button.
Cleaning & Maintenance
Always unplug the appliance before cleaning it.
Motor housing
The adapter for the accessories and the motor housing must only be wiped clean with a damp cloth. Never immerse them in water or any other liquid.
Mixer foot
Do not immerse the foot in water as this will ruin the bearing lubricant. Clean it under a running tap, without using harsh detergents. Do not put it into the sishwasher. Turn it upside down to drain out any water that may have got into it.
Blender accessory
• Take the whisk out of the drive mechanism.
- Wash the whisk in the dishwasher. The drive mechanism must only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Mincing accessory
Never immerse the adapter (11) or the mincing accessory in water! Do not wash it in the dishw

• Take the drive unit off the adapter 11.
- Twist the adapter 11 to the left (anticlockwise) and remove the mincing accessory 9.
- Hold the blade by the plastic handle and remove it.
- Both the mincing accessory and blade are dishwasher safe.
- The adapter must only be cleaned with a damp cloth.
Advice on disposal:

Our goods come in optimised packaging. This basically consists in using non-contaminating materials which should be handed over to the local waste disposal service as secondary raw materials.

This product complies with EU Directive 2012/19/CE. The crossed wheelie bin symbol shown
on the appliance indicates that when it comes to dispose of the product it must not be included in with household refuse. It must be taken to a special refuse collection point for electric and electronic appliances or returned to the distributor when purchasing a similar appliance. Under current refuse disposal regulations, users who fail to take discarded appliances to special refuse collection points may be penalised. Correct disposal of discarded appliances means that they can be recycled and processed ecologically, helping the environment and allowing materials used in the product to be reused. For more information on available waste disposal schemes contact your local refuse service or the shop where the product was purchased. Manufacturers and importers are responsible for ecological recycling, processing and disposal of products, whether directly or via a public system.
Your local town council can provide you with information about how to dispose of obsolete appliances.
