Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance for the first time, and above all follow the safety instructions as well as any warning notices on the appliance.

General safety advice

• Before plugging the appliance in to the mains supply, please check if the supply voltage corresponds to that on the make's nameplate.
• Only use earthed plug and socket for operating this appliance.
• Do not use the barbecue if there is any sign of damage to either the appliance or the cord, or if the appliance does not work properly.
• When unplugging, never pull on the cord.

DO NOT IMMERSE THE APPLIANCE IN WATER

• Never leave the appliance unattended while it is in use. Make sure children are away from it.
• Do not place the barbecue under a power socket, or in the vicinity of showers and swimming pools.
• Keep the appliance away from inflammable materials such as carpets and curtains.
  • Always place the appliance on a flat, level and stable surface.
• Do not touch either the tray or the grill when the barbecue is in use; move them using the handles.

Operation

During first use there can free some smells that disappears after some time. Residues left over from the manufacturing process are being burned on the grill plate.

To grill without smokes and smells, places water in the tray, maximum 0.8 litres.

Using barbecue

• This electric barbecue lets you cook a wide variety of food quickly, cleanly and healthily.
• The resistance may be located at either of two height positions. Cooking time is reduced with the resistance in the higher position.
• It is advisable to cover the bottom of the tray with water to avoid the smoke that may be given off as drops of fat fall from the food.

IMPORTANT: Never cover the appliance during use, as this may cause dangerous overheating

Recommendations

⇒ MEAT: Oil lightly before cooking, and add salt after the food has cooked. Cooking time depends on personal taste.
⇒ FISH: After cleaning and seasoning, leave to stand for two hours, Oil before cooking. The fish must be ready in 3-5 minutes with the resistance in the higher position.
→ KEBABS: Turn every two minutes.
⇒ FRUIT: Soften in liqueur and sugar, the liqueur being used as an accompaniment. Turn continuously.
⇒ VEGETABLES: From 5 - 7 minutes on each side, with the resistance in the higher position.
⇒ SAUSAGES, BACON etc: With the resistance in the lower position, turn every 2 minutes.

Maintenance and Cleaning

BEFORE CLEANING THE APPLIANCE, MAKE SURE IT HAS BEEN UNPLUGGED AT THE MAINS AND IS COLD.

- Remove the resistance and lift the grill for easier cleaning.

- Avoid scratching the appliance; always use a damp cloth.

This unit is covered by a 24 months (*) warranty, from the purchase date, and covers the repair free of charges of the damaged due to the manufacturer fault or defected components. The distributor reserves the right to change the unit for an equivalent model.

The warranty do not cover any damaged caused by incorrect use, lightning, incorrect installation, external factors or any intentional damaged.

For the repairing, during the warranty period, the unit shall be sent to the distributor or reseller, or to the address indicated by them, and must be jointed the warranty certificated and the respective invoice or selling ticket original, where the buying date is expressed indicated.

The user is protected by the guarantee indicated in the Directive 1999/44/CE issue by the European Parliament on 1999, May 25.
