How to change the nozzle of my G3 Ferrari G50023 heat gun?

The G50023 has two positions: position I for low temperature (approx. 300 °C) and position II for high temperature (approx. 600 °C). Use the selector located on the handle.

Can I use the heat gun to strip paint?

Yes, set it to high temperature (position II) and use a flat nozzle. Maintain a distance of 5 to 10 cm to avoid burning the surface.

What to do if the gun no longer heats?

Make sure that the rating information given on the technical label are compatible with those of the electricity grid; the installation must be performed according to the manufacturer's instructions considering the maximum power of the appliance as shown on the label; an incorrect installation may cause damage to people, animals or things, for which the manufacturer cannot be considered responsible thereof.

OPERATING

The control panel (1), and the remote control included, have to be used to regulate air speed, leafs oscillation, refreshing and ionic functions, the functioning mode and the timer.

• Press ON/OFF on panel (1) or on remote, to switch on appliance. Press again to switch off.
• Pressing key SPEED, you can decide fan speed, therefore the air outlet flow:

L Low speed

M Medium speed

H High speed

- Pressing key MODE, you can decide functioning mode:

NORMAL Constant airflow

NATURAL Irregular airflow. This mode reproduces the natural breath of wind, according to some preset cycles that regulate the power automatically from a light breeze to a most powerful jet.

• Pressing key SWING you activate the horizontal oscillation of the leafs (2), to move horizontal direction of the airflow. To decide vertical direction, Move manually the leafs (2).
• Press key TIMER to automatically switch off the fan after a certain time (from 30 minutes to 7,5 hours). Press once to set it off after 30 minutes. If you press again you increase the time of 30 minutes, up to a

maximum of 7.5 hours. The time set is equal to the sum of the values associated to the lights that are lighted on display of fan.

• Press key ION to activate ionic function. Thanks to the combination of filter and ionic function, the air coming out from fan will be purified.
• Press key HUMIDIFY to activate humidifier, described in chapter "Cooling and Humidify".
• Press key COOL to activate refreshing function, described in chapter "Cooling and Humidify".

REMOTE CONTROL

Open the cover on the back of the remote control and insert 2 x 1.5 V AAA type batteries following the correct polarity (+/-) shown inside the compartment. Close the door before using the remote control.

NOTES

• Do not use an old and a new battery together at the same time.
• the batteries if you will not use the remote for an extended period of time.
• The recommended period of efficiency of a battery should be about 6-12 months of normal use. The recommended period is shown on the battery or on the packaging. If you use the batteries for a long time, or if you are using different batteries, the possible leakage of the battery fluid may damage the remote control. At the end of their lifetime, the batteries should be disposed of separately from the municipal solid waste. It is therefore recommended to remove the exhausted batteries correctly by entrusting them to a recycling center or to a local recycling center.

COOLING and HUMIDIFY

- Pull out the container (7) And fill it with water without exceeding the max level (8).

HUMIDIFY function

• Press the HUMIDIFY key on control panel (1) and switch on the fan at one of the 3 speeds.
• The pump inside the container (7) will bring the fresh water into the evaporative panel, while the fan will make the air pass into the panel filled with water, cooling the air in outlet.

COOLING function

• Put the 2 ice boxes included in a freezer, and when are freezed put them in the water.
• Press the COOL key on control panel (1) and switch on the fan at one of the 3 speeds.
• The pump inside the container (7) will bring the fresh water into the evaporative panel, while the fan will make the air pass into the panel filled with water, cooling the air in outlet.
• If the cooling action decreases, it is advised to put the ice boxes again in the freezer.

CLEANING AND MANTAINANCE

Disconnect the plug from the electrical outlet before attempting any cleaning operation.

MANTAINANCE

Since the appliance is equipped with a filter that purifies air and with a special evaporative panel which is filled with water, to keep a good function a periodical maintenance is advised.

• Remove front panel (4)
• Remove the 2 screws on filter, on the left and on the right.
• Press the pivot that blocks filter and evaporative panel (a small round filter, just below the air leafs (2), at the center), and extract the block containing filter and panel pulling it up.
• Remove the evaporative panel from its support, paying attention in not damaging it.
• Clean filter with water and mild detergent, Rinse and dry it before mounting on appliance.
• Clean the panel with water and, if necessary, with a soft sponge. Rinse and dry it before mounting on appliance.

The water in the container has to be changed often.

• Extract container (7). Gently remove the pump in the container.
• Remove the water in container, and clean it with a sponge.
• Mount the pump in its seat and reinsert the container in the body of product.

CLEANING

Do not immerse the unit in water. In any case prevent splashes of water or other liquids reaching the motor body. Do not clean the unit with metallic sponges or abrasive cleaners, only use neutral detergents and a soft cloth moistened with water to clean the outer parts.

Dry the product completely before operating the unit.
