IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS:
Read all instrucons before use.
Always follow these basic precautions when using an electrical device:
- Read all instrucons before use.
- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or worktop and ensure that it does not touch hot surfaces.
- Place the appliance safely in the middle of the worktop.
- Do not touch the hot surfaces. Use the handles to lift or move the appliance.
- Not suitable for use by children.
- Pay special aenon if children are in the close proximity.
- Due to the risk of injuries the use of third party accessories is not recommended by the manufacturer.
- Do not use on not heat-resistant glass, wooden surfaces or tablecloths.
- Place some heat-resistant material under the mulcooker.
- Do not use if cord or plug is damaged, or when the appliance is not working properly or is malfunconing. Have the appliance checked and repaired by a qualified electrician, if necessary.
- Disconnect from mains power supply when not in use and before cleaning. Allow the appliance to cool down before removing and cleaning components.
- Always switch the appliance o before removing the inner pan.
- Be very careful when moving your mulcooker if it contains hot oil or other hot liquids.
• Make sure that the handle is correctly aached to the frying basket. See the detailed instrucons.
- Do not use outdoors in the rain.
- Insert the mains plug in the appliance and then the other plug in the wall socket. To turn o, rst set the switch to 'o' posion and then disconnect from mains power supply.
- Do not use near a hot gas cooker or electric cooker, and also not in a hot oven.
- To prevent the risk of electric shock this appliance is equipped with a plug for a grounded electrical outlet that only ts in a matching wall outlet. If the plug does not t, please contact a qualified electrician for assistance. Never aempt changing the plug.
- Do not use metal scouring pads for cleaning. Small metal pieces can come loose and cause short-circuing of electric components, which can cause electric shock or damage the device.
- To reduce the risk of electric shock do not submerge the mulcooker, cord or plug in water or other liquids.
CAUTION: Always use the appliance with the supplied non-sck inner pan to prevent electric shock.
- The mulcooker is only intended for domesc indoor use.
- The mulcooker is not intended to be used as a standard frying pan.
- Only use the appliance for its intended use.
- Keep these instrucons in a safe place.
- Set the control knob always to 'o' posion and disconnect from mains power supply when the device is not in use.
- Let the mulcooker always cool down before cleaning.
- Never ll cold water into the hot non-sck inner pan.
- Never add water to hot oil.
KEEP THESE OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS IN A SAFE PLACE.
Do not submerge the mulcooker's power base in water and do not place it in your dishwasher. Clean the appliance with care.

2. The use
This device has 8 dierent funcons: slow cooking, hot pot, fry boil, deep- fry, roast and steam.
2.1 Geng started
- Read all instrucons and product label before use.
- Clean the pot and the lip in soapy water. Replace on the heang plate when it's completely dry. Accessories can also be cleaned. Dry fully before use.
- Use a so cloth to clean the plate and gently wipe outside of the heang plate.
- Plug in the non-sck bowl: locate the gold pins on the bowl's base, align these with the three sockets in the power base and push the non-sck bowl into the power base.

To turn on
Turn the mer dial an-clockwise to the 'On' seng.

PLEASE NOTE: Only turn the mer dial clockwise to set the cooking me. Turning an clockwise from the 'On' posion may break or damage the mer.
3. Cooker funcons
3.1 Boil (220 - 240 °C)
- Fill the heang pot with water. Do not cross the 'Max' ll line.
- Turn the temperature up to 220 - 240 °C and set the mer to the required me. Add the food if the water is boiling and lower the temperature to 120 °C.

3.2 Bake (180 - 200 °C)
- Place the grill rack into the heang pot.
• Turn the temperature knob up to 180-200 °C. - Place on the lid and turn the power on.
PLEASE NOTE: The mul cooker is only suitable for baking ingredients which do not need to rise.

TIP: Adding a lile water to the boom of the bowl will help to give you potato a crispier skin.
3.3 Fondue (100 - 120 °C)
Basic fondue
- Place your ingredients into the heang pod.
- Set temperature to 100 – 120 °C and turn the device on.
• Sr ingredients as they cook to ensure consistency.
Cheese fondue
- Set temperature to 100 – 120 °C and turn the device on.
- Add cheese, white wine and any other ingredients.
• Cook for 15 minutes before serving.
Chocolate fondue
- Warm cream with chocolate broken into bits.
- Whisk and add to the heang pot.
- Add the other ingredients and cook for 5 minutes before serving.
3.4 Slow cook (110- 140 °C)
- Place your soup or food into the heang pod and cover it with liquid (water, stock, wine etc.). Make sure you don't exceed the "Max" ll line.
- Turn the temperature knob to 100-140 °C and set the mer to the appropriate me.
- When nished, carefully remove your food. Wait for the heang bowl to fully cool down. Use the pouring lip to empty out the water from the bowl.

Meat should be sautéed before slow cooking to help seal in the avours. Large porons of meat such as joints should be cooked for around 3 – 4 hours with the Lid on while smaller porons such as breasts, legs, joints and chops should be cooked for approximately 1 – 2 hours with the Lid on.
Meat suitable for slow cooking: beef, lamb, veal, pork and poultry.
PLEASE NOTE:
• To retain the heat and moisture during cooking it is best not to li the lid.
• Always make sure there is enough liquid to cover the food.

3.5 Sauté (160- 180 °C)
- Turn the temperature knob up to 160- 180 °C and set the mer to the appropriate me.
- Preheat the pot to a suitable temperature and add a small amount of oil into the pot and fry if the oil is at temperature.
- Once the oil starts to sizzle, place your ingredients inside.
- Sauté unl the edges start to color and brown.
PLEASE NOTE: Do not use metal utensils to sr ingredients in the heang pot.
3.6 Grill/ roast (180 - 200 °C)
- Place the grill rack into the heang pot.
- Place the lid and wait for the heat light to turn off.
- Turn the temperature knob up to 180 – 200 °C and set the mer to the appropriate me.
- Place the ingredients into the heang pot.
NOTE: If you nished the roast, check the food if it is cooked through.

3.7 Steam (140 °C)
• Use the stackable steam rack for steaming.
- Place the steam rack on the heang bowl.
- Add two cups of water (do not cross the 'MAX' II line).
- Place the food on the steam rack and close the lid.
- Set the temperature knob to 160-200 °C
- To prevent excess moisture evaporang and the temperature dropping it is recommended not to open the lid during preparaon.
- When nished, carefully remove your food. Wait for the heang bowl to fully cool down. Use the pouring lip to empty out the water from the bowl.
PLEASE NOTE: Aer nishing steaming carefully remove the hot steam rack from the heang pot as they will both be hot.

3.8 Deep fry (180 °C)
- Fill the heang pot with oil. Do not cross the "Max" mark.
- Turn the temperature knob up to 180 °C and set the mer to the appropriate me.
- If the oil is heated (heat light turns o), place your ingredients in the frying basket and lower the basket to cook.
- When nished, wait for the oil to completely cool down. Use the pouring lip side to empty out the oil from the bowl.

Cook the chips for 8 – 12 minutes. Frozen chips may take slightly longer.
3.9 Stew (140 - 160 °C)
• Pour in just enough oil to cover the boom of the heang pot.
- Turn temperature knob to 140 – 160 °C.
3.10 Reheat (140 °C)
- Set the temperature at 140^ C. Liquid foods like soup sauces stews etc. can be placed directly into the heang pot. For solid foods like meat joints, sausages, puddings etc. use the low rack.
3.11 Defrost (80°C)
- Set the temperature at 80 °C. Liquid foods like soup sauces stews etc. can be placed directly into the heang pot. For solid foods like meat joints, sausages, puddings etc. use the low rack.
4. Cleaning and care
Emptying oil and liquids from the heang pot
- Allow the Non-Sck Bowl to cool completely before emptying.
- When safe to remove, li the Bowl from the Power Base. Pour oil and liquid from the pouring lip of the heang pot.
Cleaning the heang pot & accessories
• Always allow the bowl and its aachments to completely cool down before cleaning.
- Wash all parts in warm, soapy water and allow to dry fully before reusing or storing.
PLEASE NOTE:
- The heang pot and accessories are NOT dishwasher safe.
- The glass lid is dishwasher safe.
- Do not use abrasive detergents or scourers.
Cleaning the Power Base
- Wipe down with a dry, clean cloth.
- Do not use abrasive detergents or scourers.
- The Power Base must not be submerged in water.
Cleaning precauons
- Unplug from the mains before cleaning.
- Never pour cold water into the heang pot if it is warm.
- Do not use abrasive scourers or steel wool on any part of the mulcooker.
5. Security advices
ATTENTION
- Repairs of electrical appliances must be carried out by qualified personnel who are trained by the manufacturer.
- Repairs performed by untrained persons may result in considerable hazards for the user and damage the machine.
6. Disposal of the Old Device

Old electric and electronic devices frequently sll contain valuable materials. However, they also contain damaging substances, which were necessary for their funconality and safety. If these were put in the non-recyclable waste or were handled incorrectly, they could be detrimental to human health and the environment. Therefore, do not put your old device into the non-recyclable waste under any circumstances.
PLEASE NOTE
- Uize the collecon point, established in your town, to return and recycle old electric and electronic devices. If necessary, contact your town hall, local refuse collecon service or your dealer for informaon.
- Ensure that your old device is stored safely away from children until it is taken away.
7. Guarantee
- We provide a 24 month guarantee for this product, commencing from the date of sale, for faults which are attributable to producon or material faults.
- Your legal guarantee entitlements in accordance with § 439. BGB-E remain unacted by this.
- The guarantee does not include damages, which were incurred as a result of improper handling or use, as well as malfuncons which only have a minor eect on the funcon or the value of the device. Consumables, transit damages, inasmuch as we are not responsible for these, as well as damages, which were incurred as a result of any repairs that were not performed by us, are also excluded from the guarantee entlements.
- This device is designed for use in domesc situaons and has the appropriate performance levels.
• Any use in commercial situations is only covered under the guarantee to the extent that it would
be comparable with the stresses of being used in a domesc situaon. It is not intended for any additional, commercial use.
- In the event of jused complaints, we will repair the faulty device at our discretion or replace it with a trouble-free device.
To enforce a guarantee claim, please contact us prior to returning the device (always provide us with proof of purchase).
