Operation

Before first use

1 Unpack the appliance.

2 Insert a battery into the battery compartment (6) (see "Replacing batteries").

Using the appliance

1 Place the appliance on a hard and even surface. Do not use the appliance on a rug or other soft surface.

2 Fit the measuring cup (5) onto the base (8). A characteristic "click" will indicate that the measuring cup has been fitted properly.

3 Press the On/Off button ON to switch on the appliance.

4 Wait until the display shows "1".

5 Select your desired unit (see "Selecting weight units").

6 Place products in the measuring cup (do not overload the appliance; the max. weigh is 3000 g).

7 Weight of the product will appear on the display in the selected unit.

8 When finished weighing, switch off the appliance by pressing and holding down the On/Off button ON OFF for approx. 2 seconds.

Warning indicators

Replace the battery – the display will show "L"0 The appliance will switch off automatically after a few seconds.

Overload indicator – the display will show “” Remove the product from the weight to avoid damage.

Never put items exceeding the maximum permissible load of 3000 g (3 kg).

Functions

Reseting the appliance - tare

When the appliance is on, and the display shows a different symbol than "press the on/off button (zero value setting) ON (3) to set the zero value.

Automatic switch-off

The appliance will switch off automatically if no operation is performed for approx. 60 seconds.

It is recommended to switch off the appliance when finished weighing in order to maximize the battery life time.

Selecting weight units

The appliance is equipped with a weight unit selection function. To change the weight unit, press the unit change button until the desired unit is displayed.

Replacing batteries

The battery compartment is located at the bottom of the appliance. Before first use, open the compartment and insert a new battery.

1 To replace a battery, open the cover of the battery compartment (6) and remove the old battery.
2 Insert a new CR2032 battery.
3 Close the cover of the battery compartment.

Cleaning and maintenance

Clean with a damp cloth. Do not immerse the base in water or use chemical/abrasive cleaning products.

Clean all plastic components immediately if soiled with grease, spices, vinegar or food with an intense taste/ colour. Avoid contact of the appliance with citrus fruit juices.

When removed from the appliance base, the measuring cup may be immersed in water and cleaned with a dishwashing detergent or in a dishwasher.

Never use any aggressive, abrasive or alcohol-based cleaning products.

Abrasive clothes or sponges may scratch the surface of your appliance.
