How to fill the water tank?

Unplug the appliance, open the tank cap and pour tap or demineralized water up to the maximum level. Do not exceed the mark.

Why is no steam coming out?

Check that the water tank is full, the temperature is set to the steam zone (high temperature), and the appliance is hot enough. If the problem persists, descale the appliance.

How to descale the steam iron?

Use the self-cleaning function if available, or fill the tank with a mixture of water and white vinegar (1:1), heat up and operate the steam several times. Rinse with clean water.

Can I use scented water?

No, only use tap or demineralized water. Additives may damage the appliance and void the warranty.

How to clean the soleplate?

Let the appliance cool down, then wipe the soleplate with a non-abrasive damp cloth. For burnt residues, use a special ceramic soleplate cleaner.

What to do if the appliance does not heat up?

Check the plug and power cord, make sure the thermostat is not on the minimum setting. If the problem persists, contact after-sales service.

How to use the vertical steam function?

Hang the garment on a hanger, hold the iron vertically a few centimeters from the fabric and press the steam button. Do not iron directly on the person.

Is the automatic shut-off adjustable?

No, the automatic shut-off is preset for safety reasons. It activates after 30 seconds of inactivity in horizontal position or after 8 minutes in vertical position.

What to do if the soleplate is scratched?

Avoid ironing over hard surfaces (zippers, buttons). Light scratches do not affect performance. For deep scratches, replace the soleplate or contact support.

How to store the steam iron?

Empty the tank, let it cool down, coil the cord without bending it, and store it upright on its heel in a dry place.

This appliance has a two year warranty period. During this period the manufacturer is responsible for any failures which are the direct result of construction failure. When these failures occur the appliance will be repaired or replaced if necessary. If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by manufacturer of its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

This appliance can be used by children, starting from the age of 8 and up. And by persons with a physical or sensory limitation as well as, mentally limited persons or persons with a lack of experience and knowledge. On the condition that these persons have received the necessary instruction on how to use this appliance in a safe way and they must also know the dangers that can occur in using this appliance.

Children cannot be allowed to play with the appliance.

Maintenance and cleaning of the appliance, cannot be done by children younger than 8 year old.

This appliance is suitable to be in an household environment and in similar surroundings such as :

• Kitchen for personnel of shops, offices or other similar professional surrounding.

• Hotel or motel rooms and other surroundings with a residential character
• Guest rooms or similar

Attention : This appliance can not be used with external timer or separate remote control.

1. Use the Foot warmer only for the means as described in this instruction booklet.
2. Only connect the appliance to the electrical circuit, if this complies with the rating label on the unit.
3. Never bend the power cord or let it come in contact with hot parts.
4. Unwind the cord completely to prevent overheating.

5. Never place the appliance near objects which generate heat such as ovens, stoves, cooking plates, etc.

6. Don't use the pad when the pad, de plug the cord or the switch have been damaged. When this is the case, don't use the foot warmer but return it to the shop or contact our customer service. Don't ever change the cord or plug yourself. Repairs on electrical appliances must be done by qualified persons. Wrongly executed repairs can lead to extreme danger for the user.

BEFORE FIRST USE

- Before using the food warmer for the first time, you need to do the following:unwrap the foot warmer carefully and remove all packaging materials. Keep the packaging (plastic bags and carton) away from children. Check the foot warmer after unpacking on visual damage, possible caused by transport.

- Never use the foot warmer when it is folded, wrinkled or tucked in.

• Don’t place any artificial heat sources, heavy and/or sharp objects on the foot warmer.
• The foot warmer has a over heating protection. This protection prevents the overheating of the foot warmer over the hole surface, by cutting the power when a malfunction occurs.
• Keep in mind that the foot warmer cannot be used any more after this and needs to be return to your vender.

TEMPERATURE SELECTION

The quickest way to heat up the foot warmer is to select the highest temperature setting. If you need lesser warmth afterwards you can lower the temperature setting.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Always remove the plug from the socket before every cleaning.
- The lining of the foot warmer can be washed in the washing machine.
- The foot warmer itself can be cleaned with a damp cloth and dried thoroughly afterwards.
- Keep in mind that your foot warmer is an electrical appliance! The foot warmer, switch, cord and the plug can never come in contact with water.

STORAGE OF THE FOOT WARMER

When you're not using the foot warmer for a longer time, we recommend to repack it in the original packaging and to store it in a dry place. Make sure not to place any heavy object on it.
