How do I assemble the vacuum cleaner?

Push the carpet and floor nozzle into the telescopic pipe. Then connect the telescopic pipe firmly into the hose handle. Finally, push the fitting pipe on the flexible hose into the attachment point on the vacuum cleaner. To adjust the pipe length, grasp the spring latch and extend to desired length.

How do I empty the dust tank?

When the dust level reaches the MAX line, turn off and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Grasp the tank handle, press the tank separation lever, and pull out the dust tank. Empty the tank, then reassemble by aligning and pushing it back until it clicks.

How do I clean the filters?

For the air filter and motor safety filter: open the vacuum cleaner cover, remove the dust separator, open the guide cover to remove dust, then open the air filter cover and take out the filter. Wash with water and dry completely for at least 24 hours in shade. For the exhaust filter: remove the exhaust filter cover, take out the filter, dust it off (do not wash with water), and reinsert. Clean filters at least once a month.

What should I do if suction power decreases?

Turn off and unplug the vacuum. Check for blockages in the telescopic pipe, flexible hose, and cleaning tools. Ensure the dust tank is not full (empty if needed). Clean or unclog the exhaust filter, air filter, and motor safety filter. Also check the inside of the dust separator for debris.

Why does my vacuum suddenly shut off?

The vacuum has a thermal protector that shuts it off if the motor overheats. Turn off the switch and unplug. Check for a full dust tank, blocked hose, or clogged filters. Fix any issues, then wait at least 30 minutes before restarting. If it still doesn't run, contact a qualified electrician or LG service agent.

Can I vacuum liquids with this vacuum cleaner?

No, do not vacuum liquids. Liquid suction can cause defects and damage the vacuum cleaner. This model is designed for dry vacuuming only.

How do I use the carpet and floor nozzle?

The nozzle has a pedal to adjust the brush position. For carpet or rug: press the pedal to lower the brush. For hard floors (tiles, wood): press the pedal to lift the brush up to avoid scratching.

Thermal protector:

This vacuum cleaner has a special thermostat that protects the vacuum cleaner in case of motor overheating. If the vacuum cleaner suddenly shuts off, turn off the switch and unplug the vacuum cleaner. Check the vacuum cleaner for possible source of overheating such as a full dust tank, a blocked hose or clogged filter. If these conditions are found, fix them and wait at least 30 minutes before attempting to use the vacuum cleaner. After the 30 minute period, plug the vacuum cleaner back in and turn on the switch.

If the vacuum cleaner still does not run, contact a qualified electrician.

Push the nozzle into the telescopic pipe.

- Push telescopic pipe firmly into hose handle.

- Grasp the spring latch to expand.

- Pull out the pipe to desired length.

How to use Assembling vacuum cleaner

Push the fitting pipe on the flexible hose into the attachment point on the vacuum cleaner.

To remove the flexible hose from the vacuum cleaner, press the button situated on the fitting pipe, then pull the fitting pipe out of the vacuum cleaner.

How to use Operating vacuum cleaner

- Pull out the power cord to the desired length and plug into the socket.

- Slide the control knob of the hose handle to operate vacuum cleaner.

• To turn off, slide the control knob to the off position.

- Press the cord reel button to rewind the power cord after use.

• Always empty the dust tank when the dust level reaches the MAX line.

Liquid suction can cause defects.

• Slide the control knob to the off position before parking.
• To store during vacuuming, for example to move a small piece of furniture or a rug, use park mode to support the flexible hose and nozzle.
• Slide the hook on the nozzle into the slot on the side of the vacuum cleaner.

• Press the button on the rear side of the nozzle to separate the air cover.

Upholstery nozzle is for vacuuming upholstery, mattresses, etc.

Dusting brush is for vacuuming picture frames, furniture frames, books, and other irregular surfaces.

How to use: Using accessory nozzles

Crevice tool is for vacuuming in those normally hard-to-reach places such as reaching cobwebs or between the cushions of a sofa.

Upholstery nozzle is for vacuuming upholstery, mattresses, etc. The thread collectors help to pick up threads and fluff.

Use the accessory in sofa mode.

How to use: Emptying the dust tank

The dust tank needs emptying when the dust level reaches the MAX line.

① Turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it. ② Grasp the handle of the tank and press the tank separation lever. Pull out the dust tank. ③ Empty the tank and then assemble the dust tank as described below.

Moving the vacuum cleaner

• Do not grasp the tank handle when moving the vacuum cleaner. The vacuum cleaner body may fall when separating the tank from the body. Grasp the carrier handle when moving the vacuum cleaner.

How to use: Cleaning the dust tank

① Press the tank separation lever and pull out the dust tank. ② Raise the dust tank cap. ③ Wash the dust tank. ④ Dry fully in the shade so that moisture is completely removed.

How to use: Cleaning the air filter and motor safety filter

① Open the vacuum cleaner cover by pushing the button. ② Grasp the handle of the dust separator and take it out. ③ Open the guide cover by pulling the guide cover lever and remove the dust. ④ Open the air filter cover by pushing the air filter cover lever and take out the air filter.

How to use: Cleaning the air filter and motor safety filter

Dry fully for more than 24 hours in the shade.

If filters are damaged, do not use them. In this case, contact LG Electronics Service Agent. Wash filters at least once a month.

How to use Cleaning exhaust filter

• The exhaust filter is reusable.

① To clean the exhaust filter, remove the exhaust filter cover on the body by pulling it out. ② Separate the exhaust filter. ③ Dust off filter. (Do not wash filter with water.) ④ Insert the projection of exhaust filter into the grooves on the body and push the exhaust filter.

The exhaust filter should be cleaned at least a year.

NOTE

Check that the vacuum cleaner is plugged in correctly and that the electrical socket is working.

What to do when suction power decreases

• Turn off the vacuum cleaner and unplug it.
• Check the telescopic pipe, flexible hose and cleaning tool for blockages or obstructions. Check that the dust tank is not full. Empty if necessary.
• Check that the exhaust filter is not clogged. Clean the exhaust filter if necessary.
• Check that the air filter and the motor safety filter are not clogged. Clean them if necessary.
• Check the inside of the dust separator. Clean the inside of the dust separator if necessary.
