INTRODUCTION
The Atlona AT-DRC444 is a Multi-Input Presentation Switcher designed with 3 x Audio and Video Switcher platforms built into one product.
The Atlona Multi-Input Presentation switch includes 4 inputs, one output Composite Video Switch; 4 inputs, one output VGA switch; and 2 input DVI and 2 input HDMI to one DVI Output Switch. Each video input is accompanied with its own audio input. Furthermore, the switcher is featured with microphone input and allows user to mix the microphone signal with the main audio in "talk-over" mode. The Atlona DRC444 is designed to be controlled via RS232, RS485 or IR.
FEATURES
- Offers 3 separate switching platforms which includes 4 inputs, one output Composite Video Switch; 4 inputs, one output VGA switch; and 2 input DVI and 2 input HDMI to one DVI Output Switch.
- Either platform (Composite, VGA or DVI/HDMI) could be switched simultaneously, as all 3 Video Platforms are completely separated from each other.
• Each video input is accompanied with its own audio input (total 12 audio inputs)
- Microphone input, allows user to mix the microphone signal with the main audio in "talk-over" mode.
- Video:
a) The DVI/HDMI inputs can support extremely high resolutions up to 1920x1200 and fully EDID and HDCP compliant. DVI/HDMI platforms will pass up to 10.2Gbps
b) The VGA inputs can support extremely high bandwidth of 750MHz and therefore up to 3200x2400 in resolutions. The VGA platform fully supports DDC.
c) The Composite video inputs are compatible with NTSC 3.58, NTSC 4.42, PAL, and SECAM formats.
- Audio:
a) Twelve inputs include four stereo balanced/unbalanced on capture screw connectors on Composite Video Platform, for 3.5mm (1/8-inch) audio inputs on VGA platform and four stereo balanced/unbalanced on capture screw connectors on DVI/HDMI platform.
b) Each one of the Audio inputs supports separate Audio adjustments and presets.
• Auto-control and Learning function:
a) The AT-DRC444 can learn and automatically transmit the RS232/RS485 commands to the Display which allows switching the display on/off or changing inputs.

a) RS-232 input, allows user to control the DRC444 with a 3rd party control system.
b) RS-232/RS-485 output, programmable output, allows users to send commands to Display's.
c) IR remote control.

a) Switch between Line Input and Mic Input by pressing a button. The LED will indicate which input is selected.
b) Turn knob to adjust either a Mic level or a Line Input Level.
c) Push knob to mute. If Mic is selected, the Mic will mute and if Line Input is selected the Line Input will mute.

"Mute": mute audio.
"Audio Lock": keep the last switched audio on, it will not change when another video input is selected.

TROUBLESHOOTING
- Image Ghosting is usually related to the low quality cables or extremely long length. Please try replacing cables with extenders or better quality cables.
- If user is not able to connect to the DCR444 via RS232, this may be related to either incorrect COM port being used or incorrect wiring on the serial cable. Please use the supplied RS232.
- Interference on the output signal is usually caused by long cables or if switcher is not grounded. Please rack-mount the switcher and make sure that the rack is grounded properly.

Never open, remove unit panels, or make any adjustments not described in this manual. Attempting to do so could expose you to dangerous electrical shock or other hazards. It may also cause damage to your AT-DRC444. Opening the product will void the warranty.
Do not attempt to service the unit. Disconnect the product and contact your authorized Atlona reseller or contact Atlona directly.
WARRANTY
Limited Warranty
Atlona Technologies warrants that (a) its products (the AT-DRC444) will perform substantially in accordance with the accompanying written materials for a period of 3 years from the date of receipt and (b) that the product will be free from defects in materials and workmanship under normal use and service for a period of 3 years. In the event applicable law imposes any implied warranties, the implied warranty period is limited to 3 years from the date of receipt. Some jurisdictions do not allow such limitations on duration of an implied warranty, so the above limitation may not apply to customers that fall within those areas.
Customer Remedies
Atlona Technologies' and its suppliers' entire liability and Customer's exclusive remedy shall be, at Atlona Technologies' decision, either return of the price paid for the product, repair, or replacement of the product that does not meet this Limited Warranty and which is returned to Atlona Technologies with a copy of the Customer's receipt. This Limited Warranty is void if failure of the product has resulted from accident, abuse, misapplication, or natural occurrence. In example but not limited to: power surges (electrical storms, local power outage), dropping the product (or items on the product), contact with fluids, and physical misconduct (i.e. kicking or punching). Any replacement product will be warranted for the remainder of the original warranty period.
No other warranties
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, Atlona Technologies and its suppliers disclaim all other warranties, either expressed or implied, including, but not limited to, implied warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose, with regard to the product and any related written materials. This Limited Warranty gives customer specific legal rights. Customers may have other rights depending on the jurisdiction.
No liability for damages
To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall Atlona Technologies or its suppliers be liable for any damages arising out of the use of or inability to use this product, even if Atlona Technologies has been advised of the possibility of such damages. Such damages include but are not limited to: special, incidental, consequential, or indirect damages for personal injury, loss of business profits, business interruption, loss of business information, or any other pecuniary loss.
Atlona Technologies' and its suppliers' entire liability under any provision of this agreement shall be limited to the amount actually paid by you for the product. Some Jurisdictions do not allow the exclusion or limitation of liability for consequential or incidental damage. The above limitations may not apply to you in such jurisdictional cases.
