-
Do not handle the plug or vacuum cleaner with wet hands. Do not use outdoors or on wet surfaces.

Maintaining the Filters

NOTE: Do not use any detergents or boiling water to wash the filters.

IMPORTANT: Your Vax vacuum cleaner is fitted with high performance filters it is essential that these are well maintained and cleaned according to the following instructions.
Vax recommends that the pre-motor and post-motor filter should be checked and cleaned periodically depending on the frequency of use and the volume of dirt being picked upon each occasion.
NOTE: Both Pre- and Post-Motor Filters can be rinsed in warm water (max 40^ C). Allow to air dry for 24 hours before replacing. Do NOT use any detergents or boiling water to wash the filters.
Once completely dry, return the filters and case to the vacuum cleaner. Replace all filters covers before restarting the vacuum cleaner.

IMPORTANT: Even with regular cleaning, filters have a limited lifespan and will eventually need to be replaced during the lifetime of the vacuum cleaner. If the performance of your vacuum cleaner is promised and/or the filters are severely discoloured, the filters may need to be replaced. As a general level, Vax recommends filters are replaced every 3-6 months depending on the level of use to ensure maximum performance of your vacuum cleaner.
