What does the blinking power indicator mean during operation?

The blinking power indicator indicates that the unit is in defrost mode. The melted frost is drained from the outdoor unit. This is normal and temporary.

How should I clean the air filter?

Switch off the power supply before cleaning. Open the intake grille, remove the filter, wash gently with water (not hotter than 40°C), dry thoroughly in shade, and reinstall. Do not use benzene, thinner, or scouring powder.

Can I use rechargeable batteries in the remote control?

No, do not use rechargeable (Ni-Cd) batteries. Only use new AAA or R03 batteries.

What are the recommended temperature settings for energy saving?

For cooling mode, set between 26°C and 28°C. For heating mode, set between 20°C and 24°C.

How do I set the ON/OFF timer?

Press the timer button (ON or OFF), set the desired time using the remote control, and confirm. The timer repeats daily once set. To cancel, press the respective timer button again.

Why does mist emerge from the indoor unit?

Mist is caused by condensation during the cooling process. This is normal and not a malfunction.

What should I do if the remote control does not work?

First, check the batteries: ensure they are inserted correctly and replace them if weak. Also, make sure the remote control is within 8 meters and not obstructed.

Why does the outdoor unit emit water or steam?

Water or steam may appear due to condensation or evaporation on the pipes. This is normal during operation.

How do I reset the remote control to default settings?

What is the difference between Auto mode and manually selecting Cool or Heat?

In Auto mode, the unit automatically selects the operation mode (cool or heat) based on the temperature setting and room/outdoor conditions. It re-evaluates every 30 minutes. Manual modes let you lock in a specific operation.

During Installation

- This equipment must be earthed and strongly recommended to be installed with Earth Leakage Circuit Breaker (ELCB) or Residual Current Device (RCD). Otherwise, it may cause electrical shock or fire in case of malfunction.

HOW TO OPERATE

REMOTE CONTROL PREPARATION

Inserting the batteries

Insert AAA or R03 batteries

- The batteries can be used for approximately 1 year. Replace the batteries when the remote control display or transmission signal becomes weak.

Setting the current time

MODE OPERATION

AUTO MODE - FOR YOUR CONVENIENCE

• Unit selects the operation mode according to temperature setting, outdoor and room temperature.
  • Operation mode is reselected every 30 minutes. During initial operation mode selection, the power indicator blinks.

HEAT MODE - TO ENJOY WARM AIR

- In heat mode, it takes a while for the unit to warm up. The power indicator blinks during this operation.

COOL MODE - TO ENJOY COOL AIR

DRY MODE - TO DEHUMIDIFY THE ENVIRONMENT

• During soft dry operation, the indoor fan operates at low fan speed to give a very gentle cooling operation.

- The range of temperature for selection is 16^ 30^ .

- Operating the unit within the recommended temperature could induce energy saving. HEAT MODE : 20°C \~ 24°C. COOL MODE : 26°C \~ 28°C. DRY MODE : 1°C \~ 2°C lower than room temperature.

- Certain fluorescent lights may interfere with signal transmission. Please consult your nearest dealer.

TO SELECT FAN SPEED

• There are 5 fan speeds, as well as automatic*.
  * For automatic fan speed, the speed of the indoor fan is automatically adjusted according to the operation.

AIR OUTLET SELECTION SWITCH

To select preferred airflow pattern.

Selection Pattern Description
[000H]		This setting blows air from upper outlet only.
	This setting automatically decides airflow pattern depending on mode and conditions (Default and recommended).
[TAB4]		For Heat mode, during start or low discharge temperature / For Cool mode, when setting temperature is achieved, the air is blown from the upper air outlet only.
[STAA]		Air is blown from the upper and lower air outlets for high speed cooling during COOL mode, and for fllling the room with warm air during HEAT mode.

WASHING INSTRUCTIONS

• Do not use benzene, thinner or scouring powder.
  • Use only soap (pH7) or neutral household detergent.
• Do not use water hotter than 40^ C .

■ Clean the filter regularly for best performance and to reduce power consumption.
■ Please consult your nearest dealer for seasonal inspection.

TROUBLESHOOTING

The following symptoms do not indicate malfunction.

Symptom Cause
Mist emerges from indoor unit.	Condensation effect due to cooling process.
Water flowing sound during operations.	Refrigerant flow inside the unit.
The room has a peculiar odour.	This may due to damp smell emitted by the wall, carpet, furniture or clothing.
Indoor fan stops occasionally during automatic fan speed setting.	This helps to remove the surrounding odours.
Operation is delayed a few minutes after restart.	The delay is a protection to the unit's compressor.
Outdoor unit emits water/steam.	Condensation or evaporation occurs on pipes.
Timer indicator is always on.	The timer setting repeats daily once set.
Power indicator blinks during operation and the indoor fan is stopped.	The unit is in defrost mode, and the melted frost is drained from the outdoor unit.
Indoor fan stops occasionally during heating operation.	To avoid unintended cooling effect.
Power indicator blinks before the unit is switched on.	This is a preliminary step in preparation for the operation when the ON timer has been set.
Cracking sound during operation.	Changes of temperature cause the expansion/contraction of the unit.

Check the following before calling for servicing.

• Activate heat mode for 2\~3 hours to remove moisture left in the internal parts thoroughly.
  • Turn off the power supply.
• Remove the remote control batteries.

SEASONAL INSPECTION AFTER EXTENDED NON-USE

• Checking of remote control batteries.
  • No obstruction at air inlet and air outlet vents.
  • After 15 minutes of operation, it is normal to have the following temperature difference between air inlet and air outlet vents:
  Cooling: ≥ 8°C
  Heating: ≥ 14°C

NON SERVICEABLE CRITERIAS

TURN OFF POWER SUPPLY and CALL Authorized Distributor under the following conditions:

• Abnormal noise during operation.
• Water/foreign particles have entered the remote control.
• Water leaks from Indoor unit.
- Circuit breaker switches off frequently.
• Power cord becomes unnaturally warm.
- Switches or buttons are not functioning properly.
