How do I pair the REVO RBL-S remote with my Sony camera?

On your camera, go to MENU > Network > Bluetooth Settings and enable Bluetooth Function and Bluetooth Ctrl. Select Pairing on the camera. On the remote, press and hold the Shutter release button and the T (telephoto) button simultaneously for at least 7 seconds until the indicator LED blinks. Confirm the pairing on the camera's LCD screen.

Why won't my camera trigger with the remote?

Ensure the plastic separator is removed from the battery, the battery is inserted with correct polarity (+ up), and the camera is set for remote triggering. Verify that the remote and camera are paired and within range (32 ft / 10 m). Also check that the lock switch on the remote is not engaged.

How do I replace the battery in the REVO RBL-S?

Use a coin to turn the battery cover to the open position. Remove the old battery and insert a new CR2032 battery with the positive (+) side facing up. Replace the cover and turn to the close position.

If the Camera Won't Trigger

• Make sure the plastic separator is removed from the battery.
• Make sure the battery is installed with the correct polarity.
• Set your camera for remote triggering.
  • Make sure the camera and remote are paired together, and you are within range.
• Make sure the lock switch is not engaged.

Inserting the Battery

1 Place a coin or similar object into the groove of the battery cover, and turn in the open position to remove the cover.

Pairing the Remote and Camera

Note: See your camera's manual for instructions on selling your camera to remote pairing mode.

1. On the camera, select MENU>
   @[network]>Bluetooth Settings>
   Bluetooth Function>On

2. On the camera, select MENU> network>Bluetooth Ctrl>On

3. On the camera, select MENU> network>Bluetooth Settings=Pairing

4. On the remote, press and hold the Shutter release button and T button simultaneously for 7 seconds or more. The remote's indicator LED will blink. Confirmation will appear on the camera's LCD when accepted. When a confirmation message appears on the camera's screen, select OK. When pairing is complete, Paired will appear.

Note: If you're having trouble pairing, go to your camera's menu and initiate Reset Network Setting.
