USER MANUAL SDF 3817 SINBO
This model deep fryer is used for making various frying food, use in household only, the capacity of oil tank is max 0.4 liters.
When use electrical appliances, basic safety precautions should always the followed, including the following:
- Read all instructions and save this instruction.
- To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plugs or plastic body in water or any other liquid
- Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used near children, children should never be allowed to operate this appliance
- Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning, allow to cool before putting on or taking off parts, and before cleaning the appliance.
- Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or in the event the appliance malfunctions or has been damaged in any manner, return the appliance to the presto factory service department for examination, repair, or technical adjustment.
- The use of accessory attachments not recommended by the appliance manufacturer may cause injuries.
- Do not use outdoors.
- Do not let cord hang over edge of table or counter or in touch with hot surfaces.
- Do not place on or near a hot gas or electric burner or in a heated oven.
- Do not place any flammable materials in or close to the deep fryer, such as paper, cardboard, plastic or flammable substances
- It is recommended that this fryer not be moved when it contains hot oil or other hot liquid, if it must be moved when it contains hot oil or other hot liquid, used extreme caution.
- Do not use appliance for other than intended use, boil water for example.
- Never operate this appliance without the oil tank in place or the oil tank has no oil.
- Never operate fryer with oil level below the minimum mark or above the maximum mark.
- Never attempt to pour oil out of the fryer when the fryer and oil are hot, allow cool first.
- Always dry food before frying, Do not add water or wet food into hot oil, water will cause oil to splatter.
- Oversized foods must not be inserted into the deep fryer as they may create a fire.

ELECTRICAL REQUIREMENTS
Check that the voltage on the rating plate of your appliance corresponds with your house electricity supply

Feature of deep fryer:

- The fryer has a red heating indicate light, a green ready indicate light.
PREPARING FRYER FOR USE
Use deep fryer only on a clean, dry, level, stable and heat resistant surface, away from countertop edge.
Make sure the fryer is not connected to the electricity supply. Remove the frying basket, oil tank and lid, wash these by hand in hot soapy water, wipe the exterior and interior of the body with a damp cloth.
Dry all parts of the fryer thoroughly and replace the lid, oil tank and basket.
Always keep the bottom of the cooking pot and the heating plate clean so that they don't accumulate foreign substances. Otherwise, it will lower the heating efficiency and shorten the life of the fryer.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE
Open the lid.
Remove frying basket and set aside.
Using only a good quality peanut oil, vegetable oil, pure corn oil, sunflower oil for deep-frying, fill the pot to point between the MIN marking and MAX marking.
Close the lid lightly.
Plug the power cord in to a 230 volt outlet. The green ready light will turn on.
Adjust the temperature control knob to the desired temperature. The red heating light will be turn on; cooking guide is given at the end of this instruction booklet.
Preheating before frying, we should preheating oil for 10 minutes.
Place food as dry as possible into the basket. Do not overfill the basket (1/4 to 1/2 is the best), too many food will cause the temperature of the oil to decrease below the optimal frying temperature and result in foods that are not as light or crispy as they can be.
Open the lid, use basket handle to place the basket with dry food inside into the oil pot gently.
Close the lid lightly, fry the food for a suitable time.
When food reaches desired brownness, open the lid.
NOTE: The steam generated during frying will escape when the lid is opened, be careful to prevent yourself from burn.
Remove the basket with cooked food from the oil pot, season to taste.
Repeat hereinbefore for additional servings.
Make the temperature control knob to OFF position and unplug the deep fryer.

These frying times are intended as a guide only and should be adjusted to suit quantity or thickness of food and your own taste.

- Always ensure that you use a good quality lard or oil for deep frying. Corn groundnut, vegetable or rapeseed oil is ideal. Do not use margarine, butter or olive oil.
- Take into account the food to be cooked before you select the frying temperature. As a general guide, precooked foods need higher cooking temperature than raw foods.
- These foods are best when fried in very small quantities to maintain their individual shapes.
CLEANING THE FRYER
Cleaning should only be carried out when the fryer is switched off and the plug removed from the socket, the fryer should have completely cooled.
- Remove the lid from the body. Lift up the basket handle and remove the basket from the pot. The basket can be washed in warm soapy water, it should be thoroughly dried afterwards.
- Wait for the fryer to cool, then remove oil tank and pour oil out. Pour hot water into the tank, and then use a damp cloth and a little mild soap to clean. Do not use steel wool scouring pads to clean. Finally, use a dry cloth.
It is recommended that you change your oil after 5 or 6 times use, or after 2 weeks of storage. - Wash the lid with warm water, a little mild soap. Wash again with clean water, and swing off the water, and wipe the water off entirely.
- Clean the shell with a cleaning dump cloth.
Never immerse the body of the fryer in water or any other liquid.
* This appliance should not be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones (including children) without supervision or order of someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety.
* The children should be supervised to avoid them from playing with the appliance.
* This appliance is for use in home and similar environments:
- in personnel kitchen areas in shops, offices or other working areas;
- in farm houses;
-by customers in hotels, motels or other accommodation units;
- in places supplying rooms and breakfast service.
* Save these instructions.
* This appliance can be used by physically, sensually or mentally handicapped ones as well as by children under 8 years old only provided that they are supervised or ordered by someone who can undertake the responsibility and protection for safety. Children should not tamper with the appliance. In case they are not older than 8 years old or unsupervised, children should not clean or maintain the product.
* Keep the appliance and its cable from the reach of children aged <8.
* The device is designed for operating with a separate control system or external timer.
