TOOLS REQUIRED
• Phillips screwdriver • Panel removal tool
- Torx driver
CAUTION: Metra recommends disconnecting the negative battery terminal before beginning any installation, unless the vehicle manufacturer recommends against so. Please check with your local Dealership for more information. All accessories, switches, climate controls panels, and especially air bag indicator lights must be connected before reconnecting the battery or cycling the ignition. Also, do not remove the factory radio with the key in the on position, or the vehicle running. It would be best to remove the key from the ignition and then wait a few seconds before removing the factory radio.

Dash Disassembly
- Unsnap and remove the shifter trim. (Figure A)
- Unsnap and remove the vent assembly above the radio. (Figure B)
- Remove (2) screws above the radio in the vent cavity. (Figure C)
- Remove the small side center console trim panels to expose and remove (2) 10 mm screws and remove radio. (Figures D, E, F, G)

Dash Disassembly
- Remove the factory radio brackets. (Figure H)
- Unsnap the radio chassis and controls from the climate control and side trim panels. (Figure I)
- Remove (4) Philips screws to remove the climate control back plate. (Figure J)
- Remove (4) outer corner Phillips screws from the climate control circuit board. (Figure K)

Dash Disassembly
- Remove (2) Philips screws to separate the side trim panels from the climate control. (Figure L)
- Unclip and remove the factory side trim panels. (Figure M)
- Using a pick tool, remove the (2) temp switches from the side panels. (Figure N)
- Modify the factory climate control, removing the side panel mounting tabs, as shown in the diagram. (Figure 0)

Kit Preparation
- Snap the factory climate switches into the radio trim panel. (Figure A)
- Mount the modified climate controls to the radio trim panel with the (4) screws previously removed. (Figure B)

Kit Assembly
ISO DIN radio provision with pocket
- Connect the radio brackets to the radio housing trim panel with the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws supplied and use the factory screws to attach the brackets to the factory climate controls. (Figure A)
- Mount the pocket to the bracket/ panel assembly with the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws supplied. (Figure B)
- Remove the metal "DIN" sleeve and trim ring from the aftermarket radio.
- Slide the radio into the assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure C)
- Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash and make all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS.
- Mount the new radio assembly into the dash and reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.

Double DIN radio provision
- Connect the radio brackets to the radio housing trim panel with the (4) #8 x 3/8" Phillips screws supplied and use the factory screws to attach the brackets to the factory climate controls. (Figure A)
- Slide the radio into the assembly and secure with screws supplied with the radio. (Figure B)
- Locate the factory wiring harness and antenna plug in the dash and make all necessary connections to the radio. Metra recommends using the proper mating adapters from Metra and/or AXXESS.
- Mount the new radio assembly into the dash and reassemble the dash in reverse order of disassembly.
