Getting Started

This vacuum cleaner is intended for household use only and NOT for commercial or industrial use. Please keep instructions for further use.

When using the vacuum cleaner basic safety precautions should always be observed, including the following:
1. Only use the vacuum cleaner indoors or dry surfaces.
2. Turn off the or/fall switch on the vacuum cleaner controls before ascending or connecting from the mains supply.
3. Always up run, the vacuum elevator before connecting or decontrolling the vacuum base and apparatuses.

12. Keep hair, loose clothing, ngeers and all parts of the body away from openings and moving parts.
13. Do not pick up any not coals, cigarette cuts, matches or any not smoking or burning objects.

Initial setup for normal operation

  6. Variable Power set in Maximum

  7. Floor heads/tools set to Carpet Mode for carpet cleaning.

  8. Mechanical Agitation turned ON for carpet cleaning.
  9. Floor heads/tools set to Hard Floor Mode for hard floor cleaning.
  10. Mechanical Agitation set turned OFF for hard floor cleaning.

Before sugging the cord into the electrical outlet, there are sure the switch is in the off position. Hold the vacuum clearer firmly when starting and in use.

IMPORTANT: If the air inlet, nose or telescopic tube is blocked, switch of the vacuum cleaner and remove the blockage(s) before re-starting the vacuum cleaner.

Why won't the vacuum cleaner pick up?

- There may be a blockage in the hose, please check the hose and remove the blockage

• The dirt container may be 'full or blocked, please refer to the Locking After Your Machine Emctying and clearing dirt container' page of this year using (ph)

• The cirt container may be incorrectly installed, please ensure the cirt container is locked in place

• The brushbar may not be turning, please refer to the Looking After Your Machine - Removing Blockages' page in this user juice (p7)

Why won't the accessories pick up properly?

- The TurboToo, may be blocked, please refer to the 'Looking After Your Machine - Removing Blockages' page in this user guide (p7) - The accessory may be broken

What do I do if an accessory/the unit becomes damaged or broken?

- Please check at the damage is with the accessory or the unit. To do this, firstly remove the necessary from the unit and shock if there is suction

from the hose. If there is suction from the hose this confirms that the damage is with the accessory.

Why is dust escaping from the vacuum?

- The filters may not be installed correctly, please refer to the 'Looking After Your Machine'. Filters' page of the user guide (p6)

- The exit condition may be 'full or boosted, please refer to the 'Leaking After Your Machine - Lrrctying and viewing dirt container' page of this user's juice (cp)

• The filters may need cleaning, please refer to the "Looking After Your Machine Filters" page of this user guide (p6):

• There may be a blockage in the hose, please check the hose and remove the blockage

Why does my vacuum cleaner have no power?

- It may not be plugged into the electric socket correctly. Ensure that the plug is pushed into the electrical socket security

• The electrical socket may not be working. Check the fuse or breaker and consult an electrician

- The motor thermostat may have tripped. Switch of and unplug the vacuum cleaner.
