Then go to Options > Lamp Settings > Lamp Reset and select Yes to reset the lamp hour counter.
Can I use the remote as a mouse for my computer?

What should I do if the projector overheats?
If the TEMP LED lights red, the projector will automatically shut down. Allow it to cool for at least 3 minutes. Ensure ventilation slots are not blocked and the ambient temperature is below 35°C (95°F). If the problem persists, contact Optoma service.
How can I control the projector over a network?

Why is there no image on the screen?
Check that the lens cap is removed, the projector is powered on (blue LED), and the correct input source is selected (press Source button). Ensure cables are securely connected and the source device is outputting a signal. Also verify that AV Mute is not active.

Eye Safety Warnings

natural_image Symbolic illustration of a computer monitor with a red X mark and eye inside, enclosed in an oval (no text or numbers present)

Avoid staring directly into the projector's beam of light at all times.
Minimize standing facing into the beam. Keep your back to the beam as much as possible.
Using a stick or laser pointer is recommended to avoid the need for the presenter to enter the beam.
Ensure that projectors are located out of the line of sight from the screen to the audience; this ensures that, when presenters look at the audience, they do not also have to stare at the projector lamp. The best way to achieve this is by ceiling-mounting the projector rather than placing it on floor or table top.
When projector is used in a classroom, adequately supervise students when they are asked to point out something on the screen.
In order to minimize the lamp power needed, use room blinds to reduce ambient light levels.
