Frequently Asked Questions - CAFB2100 019 CANDY

How do I replace the dust bag?
Open the bag door by lifting the release latch. Pull out the bag holder, then remove the old bag by pulling the bag collar. Seal the full bag with the peel-and-seal sticker and dispose. Insert a new bag collar into the holder, refit the holder, and close the door. The door will not close if the bag or holder is missing.
How often should I clean the filters?
Wash both the pre-motor and exhaust filters after every 5 bag changes. Use hand-warm water only, no detergents, and let them dry completely before reinstalling. Clean filters ensure optimal performance.
What does the bag check indicator mean?
The indicator turns red when the bag is full, there is a blockage, or the filters are dirty. If the cleaner is used for an extended time with the indicator red, a thermal cut-out will switch it off. Check bag, filters, and hoses for obstructions.
How do I clear a blockage?
First check if the bag is full; replace if needed. Then inspect filters and clean if dirty. Finally, use a rod or pole to remove blockages from the telescopic tube or flexible hose. The indicator may also go red due to blockages.
What is the thermal cut-out?
It is a safety feature that automatically switches the cleaner off if it overheats (e.g., due to a full bag or blockage). After the cleaner cools down for about 30 minutes, the cut-out resets and you can resume normal use.
Can I use the vacuum for wet pickup?
No. This vacuum cleaner is designed for dry pickup only. Using it on wet surfaces or picking up liquids can cause electric shock or damage. Keep it away from water.
What accessories come with the CAFB2100 019?
The standard accessories include a 2-in-1 tool (crevice and dusting brush). Additional items like mini turbo nozzles, grand turbo nozzle, and hard floor caresse nozzle may be available on selected models. Check your package for included parts.
How do I unwind and rewind the power cord?
To unwind, pull the cord from the cleaner until you see the red marker (do not pull beyond it). To rewind, press the cord rewind pedal located near the back of the machine. Hold the plug while rewinding to avoid whipping.
Where can I buy spare parts?
Always use genuine Candy spares. Contact your local Candy dealer or the Candy service office directly. When ordering, quote your model number CAFB2100 019.
How do I select the correct floor mode?
Press the surface selector pedal on the carpet and floor nozzle. For hard floors, the brushes lower to protect the surface. For carpets, the brushes lift for deep cleaning. Adjust as needed for best results.
