Pull the crown out to position 2 (middle) and rotate clockwise or counterclockwise until the correct time is displayed. Push the crown back in to position 1 (normal) to start the watch.

How do I change the date on my watch?

Pull the crown out to position 1 (first click) and turn clockwise to adjust the date. Pull to position 2 for time setting. Avoid changing the date between 9 PM and 3 AM to prevent damage.

What battery does my Sekonda Dress 1496 use?

It uses a SR626SW or equivalent silver oxide battery. Replace every 1-2 years.

Is the watch water resistant?

It is water resistant to 3 ATM (30 meters), meaning it can withstand splashes and brief immersion, but not swimming or diving.

How do I clean my watch?

Use a soft dry cloth to wipe the case and crystal. Avoid using water, soap, or chemicals. For metal bracelets, a damp cloth may be used sparingly, then dry.

Can I replace the strap myself?

Yes, you can replace the strap using a spring bar tool. The band width is 20 mm. Purchase a compatible aftermarket strap.

My watch stopped. What should I do?

First, check if the crown is fully pushed in. If still not running, the battery may be dead. Replace the battery at a authorized service center or watchmaker.

How do I prevent scratches on the glass?

The crystal is made of mineral glass, which is scratch-resistant but not scratch-proof. Avoid contact with hard surfaces and store the watch in a soft pouch or case.
