When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should always be followed including the following:

  • Always ensure that the voltage on the rating label corresponds to the mains voltage in your home
  • Incorrect operation and improper use can damage the appliance and cause injury to the user.
  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and if they understand the hazards involved. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children unless they are older than 8 and supervised. Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children aged less than 8 years. Check the power cord and plug regularly for any damage. If the cord or the plug is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or qualified person in order to avoid an electrical hazard.
  • Do not use the appliance if it has been dropped or damaged in any way. In case of damage, take the unit in for examination and/or repair by an authorised service agent.

  • Do not continuously operate the mixer too long. The motor may overheat. If the surface of the blender has been very hot, it may need time to cool down. After reducing to room temperature, the blender can be operated again. Avoid operating without load for long periods as the bearings could overheat.

USING YOUR ELECTRIC KNIFE

  1. Remove all packaging. Take away the Blade Sleeve carefully. Wash the blades in warm, soapy water. Rinse and dry thoroughly. PLEASE BE CAREFUL WHEN HANDLING THE BLADES AS THEY ARE EVERY SHARP
  2. Attach the two blades together or by inserting the Rivet on one blade into the round socket of the Slot on the other and sliding them together along the slot
  3. Grasp the two hollows of the blade handles and insert the blades into the blade holding holes in the Power Handle. Push both blades into place with two clicks.
  4. Plug in the appliance.
  5. Hold the Power Handle. Place the Electric Knife directly on the food to be cut.
  6. Press Power Switch Button, the blades will begin to slice.
  7. When you have finished cutting, stop the Electric Knife by releasing the Power Switch Button immediately.
  8. Unplug from electrical outlet before remove the cutting blades. Grasp the two hollows of the blade handles by one hand and press the Ejector Button by the other hand. Then carefully pull the two blades from the holding holes.

BLADES

There are 2 sets of blades with this product. As a general rule, use the fine tooth blades for bread, meat & other food stuff. Use the course tooth blade for frozen food stuff

CLEANING

  1. Always switch off and unplug before cleaning.
  2. Remove the blades from the Power Handle before washing. Slide the blade with a rivet along the slot in the other to separate the two blades.
  3. Wipe the Power Handle with a damp cloth, then dry.
  4. Never immerse Power Handle in water or other liquid or use abrasives.
  5. Wash the blades in warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly
  6. TAKE GREAT CARE WHEN HANDLING THE BLADES AS THEY ARE VERY SHARP
  7. The blades can be cleaned in a dishwasher.

Note: Do not clean any part of the Electric Knife in the dishwasher

STORAGE

Insert the blades into the Blade Sleeve carefully, store in a cool, dry and ventilating place.
