Read this booklet thoroughly before using and save it for future reference
IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS
When using electrical appliance, the following basic safety precautions should always be followed:
- Read all instructions.

Before use checks that the voltage power corresponds to the one shown on the appliance nameplate.

Unplug from outlet when not in use and before cleaning. Allow kettle to cool down before cleaning the appliance.

Do not let cord hang over edge of that table or counter, or touch hot surface.

To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cord, plug, power base and kettle in water or other liquid.

Close supervision is necessary when any appliance is used by or near children.

Do not touch hot surface. Use handle only.

Do not operate any appliance with a damaged cord or plug or after the appliance malfunctions. Return the appliance to the nearest authorized service center for examination, repair or adjustment.

If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its service agent or a similarly qualified person in order to avoid a hazard.

Do not use outdoors.

Do not use the appliance for other than intended use.

The kettle can only use with the stand provided.

If the kettle is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.

Save these instructions.

This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved. Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
OPERATION
It is recommended that operate the kettle several times following the below instruction and discard off the water before first use. This will remove the material or dust remained in the appliance which is caused by the manufacturing process.
- Open the lid by pulling the lid upwards and fill water into the kettle. Then replace the lid otherwise the kettle could not be cut off power automatically after water being boiled.
Caution: the filled water level must be between the Max and Min level as indicated on the housing. Too less water will do damage to the heat element and if the water is overfilled, boiling water may be ejected.
- Replace the kettle on the Power Base and connect to power supply. Position the kettle so that the spout of kettle is facing away from you.
- Press down the switch to "1" position and the lamp will be illuminated. And water begins to be heated up. Do not remove the lid while the water is boiling.
- Power will be cut off automatically and switch will be back to "0" position once water has been boiled. And the lamp will be off.
- The boiling process can be terminated at any time by lifting the kettle off the Power Base.
CAUTION:
-
Never operate the appliance empty. In the event of this case occurred, the thermal cut-off inside the kettle would operate to cut off power automatically. Unplug the appliance and let it completely cool down.

The filter must be in place during operation otherwise water spillage may occur.
Cleaning & Maintenance
- Remove the plug from wall outlet and let the appliance completely cool down before cleaning.
- Do not immerse power cord, kettle and Power Base in water.
- In order to maintain the polish of the outer surface, do not use abrasive cleaner to wipe the housing.
- Periodical descaling is needed. The interval of descaling depends on the hardness of water in your living area and the frequency your using the kettle.
- Do not attempt to dismantle the kettle or power base. No user serviceable parts inside it. For any problem, contact the authorized service facility for help.
- The power cord can be rounded around the bottom of power base for storage.
