Frequently Asked Questions - PDWMG46 Pyle

How do I set up the Pyle PDWMG46 wireless system?
Connect the AC adapter to the receiver and plug it into a wall outlet. Connect a 6.35mm audio cable from the receiver's output to your amplifier or mixer input. Turn on the receiver, then slide the transmitter switch to ON. Adjust volume as needed.
What batteries does the transmitter use?
The transmitter uses one 1.5V AAA alkaline battery (included). The low battery indicator lights up when replacement is needed.
What is the operating range of this system?
The effective range is up to 50 meters (150 feet) under optimal conditions, but actual range may vary due to signal absorption, reflection, and interference.
Can I use this with any guitar or bass?
Yes, the flex jack swivel plug fits most output jacks. The gain control allows compatibility with various pickups. It is optimized for guitar and bass but can also work with keyboards.
How do I mute the transmitter?
Slide the transmitter switch to the middle position between ON and OFF. This mutes the audio without turning off the power, preventing 'thump' noise.
The receiver is not getting any signal. What should I do?
Check that both units are powered on. Ensure the transmitter battery is fresh and inserted correctly. Verify that the receiver antennas are not blocked. Try adjusting the squelch control or moving closer.
What frequencies does the PDWMG46 use?
It operates in the 640-698 MHz range. The specific frequencies depend on your country's regulations. Refer to the included frequency supplement for usable channels.
How long do the batteries last?
Battery life varies with usage. Typically, the transmitter's AAA battery lasts about 8-10 hours, and the receiver's AA batteries last longer. Low battery indicators warn when replacement is needed.
Can I use the receiver with only batteries?
Yes, the receiver can operate on 2 x 1.5V AA batteries (included) or the supplied AC adapter. The power indicator lights when the receiver is on.
How do I clean the system?
Use a dry, soft cloth to wipe the surfaces. Avoid liquids, moisture, and extreme temperatures. Do not use abrasive cleaners.
