How do I set the thermostat?

Turn the thermostat dial to the desired temperature setting. The heater will automatically maintain the room temperature by switching on and off. For frost protection, set the thermostat to the ^* position (below 0°C).

What do the power switches do?

There are two power switches with indicator lights. Switch I and II can be combined for different heat outputs: Low (I on, II off), Medium (I off, II on), Maximum (both on). The pilot lights show which switch is active.

How should I clean the heater?

First, unplug the heater and let it cool completely. Clean the housing with a damp cloth. Do not immerse in water. Use a vacuum cleaner to remove dust from the air outlet openings regularly.

What should I do if the heater overheats?

The heater has an overheat protection that shuts it off automatically. If it switches off, unplug it, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool, and remove any obstruction covering the grids. Then plug it back in and turn it on.

Can I use the heater in a bathroom?

No. The manual warns: Do not operate the heater near baths, showers, washbasins, swimming pools or any water container. It must be impossible to reach the controls when in contact with water. Use only in dry indoor locations.

What is the minimum distance from walls and objects?

Place the heater at least 50 cm from any wall or object and at least 1 meter from combustible materials (e.g., curtains, furniture). Ensure air inlets and outlets are not blocked.

What does the frost protection setting do?

When the thermostat is set to the ^* position, the heater will automatically switch on when the room temperature falls below 0°C. This helps prevent freezing, but ensure the heat output is sufficient for the room size.

Why does the pilot light go off during operation?

The pilot light on the power switch indicates when the heater is actually heating. When the thermostat reaches the set temperature, the heater shuts off temporarily, and the pilot light goes out. It will light again when heating resumes.

Is it safe to leave the heater unattended?

The heater has overheat and tip-over protection for safety. However, always unplug when not in use and never leave it on while sleeping or if the room is unattended for long periods. Do not cover the heater.

How do I reset the heater after it tips over?

IMPORTANT SAFEGUARDS

☐ Please read these instructions carefully before using the appliance.
☐ Check that your mains voltage corresponds to that stated on the rating plate of the appliance.
□ Keep out of reach of children or incompetent persons.
From time to time check the cord for damages. Never use the appliance if cord or appliance shows any signs of damage but have it checked and repaired by a competent qualified service (*). Should the cord be damaged, it must be replaced by a competent qualified service (*)
☐ Only use the appliance for domestic purposes and in the way indicated in these instructions.
☐ Never immerse the appliance in water or any other liquid for any reason whatsoever. When cleaning the appliance, refer to the instructions in the paragraph "Cleaning and care" because the water penetration through the openings can be very dangerous for your appliance.
☐ Never use the appliance near hot surfaces.
Before cleaning and when you do not use the appliance, always unplug the appliance from the power supply. Do not attempt to remove the plug from the wall socket with wet hands.
□ Never use the appliance outside and always place it in a dry environment.
☐ Never use accessories that are not recommended by the producer. They could constitute a danger to the user and risk to damage the appliance.

CONNECTION TO THE MAINS SUPPLY

The convection heater should only be connected to an earthed socket installed in accordance with the regulations. Make sure that the supply voltage corresponds with the voltage marked on the rating label. This product complies with CE-directives.

OPERATION

• After having installed your convection heater on a stable surface, insert the plug into an earthed power socket.
• When the appliance is switched on for the first time, a slight smell may be emitted. Please ensure sufficient ventilation. This smell will disappear very quickly.
• Turn the thermostat to the desired level.
• Press the power switches to choose the heating intensity by means of different combinations (see table below). For easy recognition of the heating level selected at any time, the switches are equipped with an indicator lamp. The pilot light of the switch that is in ON position goes on to indicate that the appliance is heating.
• The convection heater will automatically shut off when the desired room temperature set by the thermostat is reached. The pilot light of the power switch will go out.
  If the thermostat is set to its ^* (frost protection) position, the unit will switch on once the temperature has fallen below 0° C. Depending on the size of the room make sure the heat output is sufficient to keep the room temperature above freezing point.

Caution: the convector will not heat until you have put the thermostat on the desired position. (thermostat setting see below)

Once a switch has been pressed to start operation, the thermostat will switch the unit on and off automatically to keep the temperature at a constant level.

This setting is best suited for smaller, well-insulated areas that require less heating.

Note: the metallic parts of this appliance become hot during use so if you need to move the appliance during use, use the side handles.

OVERHEAT AND TIP-OVER PROTECTION

- This heater is protected with an overheat protection that switches off the appliance automatically in case of overheat, e.g. due to the total or partial obstruction of the grids. In this case, unplug the appliance, wait about 10 minutes for it to cool and remove the object that is obstructing the grids. Then switch it back on as described above. The appliance should operate normally. Should the problem persist, please contact the nearest customer service.

CLEANING AND CARE

• Before cleaning the appliance, ensure it is disconnected from the power supply and has cooled down completely.
• To avoid the risk of electric shock, do not clean the heater with water and do not immerse it. Clean the housing with a damp cloth.
• If necessary, dust particles accumulated in the air outlet openings may be removed with a vacuum cleaner. This maintenance should be done regularly to assure the good operation of the appliance.
