Frequently Asked Questions - VZ-19RCR ViewZ

How do I connect multiple cameras to the VZ-19RCR?
Use the BNC inputs to connect analog cameras. For multiple cameras, you may need a multiplexer or DVR that outputs to a single BNC or VGA connection. The monitor has one BNC input, so daisy-chain via loop-through or use a switcher.
What is the best resolution for this monitor?
The native resolution is 1280 x 1024 (SXGA). For best image quality, set your source to output this resolution. Lower resolutions will be scaled by the monitor.
Can I mount this monitor on a wall?
The VZ-19RCR is designed for 19-inch rack mounting. Wall mounting is not standard, but you can use a VESA mount if the monitor supports it (check manual). Typically, rack-mount monitors have ear brackets for rack installation.
How do I adjust the display settings?
Use the front panel buttons to access the OSD menu. You can adjust brightness, contrast, color, and picture position. Refer to the manual for specific button functions.
Why is there no signal displayed?
Check that the power cord is connected and the monitor is turned on. Ensure the video source is active and correctly connected. Verify the input source selected in the OSD menu matches the cable used. Try a different cable or port.
How do I clean the screen?
Use a soft, dry microfiber cloth to gently wipe the screen. Do not use liquids, sprays, or abrasive cleaners. For tough stains, slightly dampen the cloth with water (not wet) and wipe dry.
What power cord is required?
The monitor uses a standard IEC C13 power cord with a grounding plug. Input voltage is 100-240V AC, 50/60Hz. Use only the cord provided or a certified replacement.
Is this monitor compatible with HD cameras?
The VZ-19RCR has a native resolution of 1280 x 1024, which is less than Full HD (1920x1080). It can display HD signals if downscaled, but for best results, use analog cameras or SD sources. For HD, consider a monitor with higher resolution.
How do I reset to factory settings?
Access the OSD menu using the front buttons. Navigate to the Setup or System tab and select Factory Reset or Reset All. Confirm the reset. The monitor will restore default settings.
What is the warranty period?
ViewZ typically offers a limited warranty of 3 years for their monitors. Check your purchase documentation or contact ViewZ support for specific coverage details.
