Why is my iron not producing steam?

Check that the water tank is filled and the steam knob is not set to '0'. Ensure the temperature dial is set to a steam zone (usually above the '•' mark). If the iron is new, it may need a few seconds to heat up. Also, press the steam burst button a few times to prime the pump.

Water is leaking from the soleplate. What should I do?

This usually happens when the iron is not hot enough for steam. Set the temperature to a higher setting (e.g., MAX) and wait for the indicator light to go out before using steam. Also, do not overfill the tank beyond the MAX line. If problem persists, perform the self-clean cycle.

How do I clean the iron to remove limescale?

Use the self-clean function: Fill tank halfway, set temperature to MAX, heat until indicator goes out, unplug, hold horizontally over sink, and press the self-clean button repeatedly until tank is empty. For stubborn scale, you can also use a salt water solution (1 tsp salt in 3/4 cup water) left in the tank for 15 minutes, then rinse thoroughly.

The iron turns off by itself. Is this normal?

Yes, this model has an auto shut-off feature for safety. It turns off after 30 seconds of inactivity horizontally or 8 minutes vertically. Simply move or pick up the iron to reactivate it. The auto-off indicator will blink when off.

Can I use tap water in the iron?

Most tap water is acceptable. However, if your water is very hard, mixing with distilled water (50/50) is recommended to reduce scale. Do not use scented water, starch, or chemical additives.

Why is the iron not heating up?

First, check that the plug is firmly inserted and the outlet is working. Ensure the temperature dial is set above MIN. If the indicator light is off but the iron is cold, the thermal fuse may have blown – contact an authorized service center.

How do I iron delicate fabrics without damage?

Always check the garment care label. Start at the lowest temperature setting and gradually increase if needed. Use the spray or steam burst for stubborn wrinkles. For synthetics, use low heat and avoid prolonged contact with the soleplate.

The soleplate has sticky residue. How do I clean it?

Heat the iron to a medium setting and iron over an old cotton cloth to melt residue. For stubborn buildup, use a damp cloth with mild detergent (never abrasive cleaners or metal pads). Wipe the soleplate while warm.

What does the anti-drip function do?

The anti-drip system prevents water from dripping onto your clothes when the iron is not hot enough for steam. It automatically cuts off water flow below the set temperature, so you can iron without spotting.

How should I store the iron after use?

Unplug the iron and empty the water tank completely. Allow it to cool down. Store vertically on its heel rest to protect the soleplate. Keep the cord loosely wrapped and out of reach of children.

The mains plug should only be inserted into a correctly installed 220-240 V \~ 50/60 Hz socket.

The extension cord should not be allowed to drape over the counter or tabletop where it can be pulled by children or tripped over.

Notes:

1. High precision temperature adjuster: high precision temperature adjuster was used; it is called thermostat. We fixed the temperature range according to the kind of materials.
2. Thermal Fuse protecting: when the working temperature pass its normal one. The fuse will melt automatically, and cut off the power supply. When the failure happens, it must be sent to its service agent in order to avoid a hazard.

HOW TO USE

How to fill with water:

Make sure the iron is turned off and the power cord is unplugged from the electrical outlet.

1. Set the 'Variable' steam knob to the '0' position before filling the iron with water.
2. Open the 'Water Fill' Opening and fill the Tank up to the 'MAX' Line on the tank.
3. The water level can be observed through the transparent part of the tank, when iron placed vertically, in case of water level becomes low, refill the tank, following the procedure described in steps 1 to 3 above.
4. Pour out the remaining water after use.

Note:

Most tap water can be used in this iron. Do not use water additives or substitute water such as linen or scented water in the steam iron, they can stain fabrics or damage the iron. Do not fill the water more than the 'MAX' position.

How to use as dry iron:

1. Position the iron vertically.
2. Plug the iron.
3. Set Steam regulating Knob to MIN position.
4. Preheat the iron until the indicator light goes out.
   Now dry ironing can begin.

How to use the spray:

Before using the spray feature, check the fabric label for ironing instructions because some fabrics may be spotted or stained with moisture.

The spray feature is particularly helpful for removing stubborn wrinkles and where extra dampening is needed. The spray may be use with steam or dry ironing. Simply pump the Spray Mist knob when spray is desired.

How to use as steam iron:

Fill the iron as described in „How to fill with water”.

1). Position the iron vertically and turn the Temperature Control Dial to the steam position.
2). Plug the Cord into the electrical outlet.
3). Set the Temperature Control Dial to the steam position. Steam Ironing is only possible when at higher temperature settings indicated with 'MAX' mark; otherwise the water will leak from the soleplate.
4). Preheat the iron until the indicator light goes out. The light will turn off when the indicated setting reaches the correct temperature.
5). Turn the Temperature regulating knob to the required setting for different types of fabric. Adjust Steam volume by adjusting Steam regulation knob. Now steam ironing can begin.

How to use the burst of steam:

The burst of steam feature provides additional steam for removing stubborn wrinkles. It may be used with steam or fry ironing.

Press the Power Steam button to release the surge of steam. Pressing the button several times may be necessary to prime the surge system. Wait a few seconds for the steam to penetrate the fabric before pressing the button again for more steam.

Note:

For optimum steam quality, do not apply more than three successive shots after the indicator light goes off.

Anti-Calc Function:

The anti-calc function is a permanet system loacated inside the water tank to eliminate impurities from the water and to reduce the problems connected with limescale build-up.

To prolong the efficiency of this system, follow these steps occasionally:

1). Unplug the iron and allow it to cool down.
2). Locate the water cup that accompanied the iron. Fill it with water 3/4 full. Add 1 teaspoon of salt to water and fill the water tank with this solution.
3). Leave the solution in the water tank for 15 minutes, shaking occasionally, and then empty it.
4). Fill the water tank a second time with salt water solution, shaking occasionally and empty it again after 15 minutes.
5). Fill the tank with fresh water to rinse and empty.
6) To Clean nozzles on the Hot Plate, during the steam ironing, you can press rapidly button „Self-clean button”

Anti-Drip Function:

This system controls the water flow to the soleplate at all times. Below a certain temperature, the anti-drip function cuts off the flow of water and stops the iron from dripping onto the fabric.

Auto-Shut Off Function (option, not included in all models):

The iron will automatically switch off if it is has not been moved for a while, usually 30 seconds in level state; 8 minutes in vertical state.

To indicate that the iron has been switched off, the auto-off indicator light will start blinking.

To heat up the iron again:

1). Pick up the iron or move it slightly.
2). The blue auto-shut off pilot light will go out. The blue temperature pilot light will come on.
3). When the temperature pilot light had gone out and comes on again, the irons is ready for use

MAINTENANCE

Keep unit to cool down before you start with cleaning.

Do not immerse the unit or power supply cable and plug into water!

After each use:

1). Turn the iron off and unplug.
2). Empty the iron immediately after using. Do not store the iron with water in it.
3). Wait until the iron has cooled before storing it, and always set it on the Hell Rest to protect the soleplate from scratches, corrosion or stains.
4). After letting iron cool down completely, store the iron vertically in a safe place.

Outside surface of the iron:

After unplugging and cooling the iron, simply wipe off with a damp cloth and if necessary, use a mild detergent.

NEVER USE ANY HARSH CLEANERS.

Soleplate :

Starch and other residue may be easily removed from the soleplate with a damp cloth.

To avoid scratches the finishing, never use a metallic pad to clean the Soleplate, and never place the iron on a rough surface. If synthetics are ironed at too high temperature not only is the fabric usually ruined, but the iron Soleplate is often covered with the melted remains of the synthetic fabric. The best way to remove synthetic residue from the Soleplate is to heat the iron and to iron over an old cotton rag.

During this process of dry steaming it is advised to use it over and old piece of cloth.

Self Cleaning

IMPORTANT: Your iron will give the best ironing results and last longest if you apply the Self Cleaning once a month, or more depending upon the usage.

1. Filling the water tank up to half with water.
2. Position the iron on its rear heel.
3. Select the temperature control dial to 'MAX'.
4. Plug the iron.
5. Allow the iron to heat up until the indicator light first goes out.
6. Unplug the iron from the electrical outlet.
7. Keep the iron horizontally over the sink.
8. Press down the 'Self Clean' button all the time. Boiling water and steam will now emit from the holes in the soleplate.
9. Move the iron forwards and backwards white this happens; go on letting steam and water escape until the water tank is virtually empty.
10. Release the 'Self Clean' button.
11. Plug in the iron and set the temperature dial to the 'MAX' position, let the iron heat up again, the remainder of the water inside the steam chamber will now vaporize and leave the iron through the soleplate.

CAUTION :

Never Use steam iron cleaners in the iron, since they may damage the working parts of the iron.

Ovom garancijom garantira proizvođač proizvoda, preko KIM TEC d.o.o., kao uvoznika i davatelja garancije u Republici Bosni i Hercegovini besplatan popravak istog u skladu s važećim propisima i u skladu s uvjetima opisanim u ovom garantnom listu. Ovom garancijom garantiramo da će predmet ove garancije raditi bez greške uzrokovane eventualnom lošom izradom i lošim materijalom izrade. Svi eventualno nastali kvarovi biti će besplatno otklonjeni u ovlaštenom servisu u garantnom roku.

UVJETI GARANCIJE:

POTPIS I PEČAT PRODAVCA

1. Ovom izjavom o saobraznosti proizvođač proizvoda, preko KIM TEC CG d.o.o., kao uvoznika i davaoca prava uCrnoj Gori besplatan popravak istog u skladu s vazećim propisima i u skladu s uslovima opisanim u ovoj izjavi o saobraznosti. Ovom izjavom o saobraznosti istićemo da će predmet ovog prava raditi bez greške uzrokovane eventualnom lošom izradom i lošim materijalom izrade. Svi eventualno nastali kvarovi biće besplatno otklonjeni u ovlašćenom servisu u predviđenom roku za reklamaciju.

2. USLOVI REKLAMACIJE: Rok za reklamaciju počinje teći od dana kupovine proizvoda i traje 24 mjeseca.

3. U slučaju kvara na proizvodu koji je predmet reklamacije, obavezujemo se da ćemo isti popraviti u najkraćem mogućem roku, a najkasnije u roku od 15 dana. Ako se proizvod ne može popraviti ili se ne popravi u roku od 15 dana, biće zamijenjen novim.

4. Pravo na reklamaciju se priznaje uz fiskalni račun o kupovini, ili uz ovu izjavu o saobraznosti koji mora biti ispravno popunjen odnosno mora sadržati datum prodaje, pečat i potpis prodavca.

5. Nakon isteka roka za saobraznost potrošaču će biti obezbijeden servis i snadbijevanje rezervnim djelovima u skladu sa važećim zakonskim propisima.
