USER MANUAL HBV-348C Infiniton

  • This appliance can be used by children aged from 8 years and above and persons with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience and knowledge if they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance in a safe way and understand the hazards involved.
  • Children shall not play with the appliance. Cleaning and user maintenance shall not be made by children without supervision.
  • If the supply cord is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer, its service agent or similarly qualified persons in order to avoid a hazard.
  • Warning: If the surface is cracked, switch off the appliance to avoid the possibility of electric shock.
  • Metallic objects such as knives, forks, spoons and lids should not be placed on the surface since they can get hot
    • A steam cleaner is not to be used.
  • Do not use a steam cleaner to clean your cooktop.
  • The appliance is not intended to be operated by means of an external timer or separate remote-control system.
  • WARNING: Danger of fire: do not store items on the cooking surfaces.
  • The cooking process has to be supervised. A short term cooking process has to be supervised continuously.
  • WARNING: Unattended cooking with fat or oil can be dangerous and may result in fire. NEVER try to extinguish a fire with water, but switch off the appliance and then cover flame e.g. with a lid or a fire blanket.

PLEASE READ CAREFULLY – ALWAYS MAINTAIN SAFETY WHEN WORKING WITH ANY APPLIANCE

  • Check that the mains voltage corresponds with the rating of the appliances.
  • Do not touch hot surfaces – Use handles or knobs
  • To protect against electric shock, do not immerse cords, plugs or appliances in water or any other liquid.
  • Unplug from outlet when not in use or before cleaning.

- Do not let the cord hang over the edge of a table or counter or let it come into contact with any hot surfaces.

- To disconnect-remove the plug from the outlet. Do not pull plug out by the cord.

- No responsibility can be accepted for any damage caused by noncompliance with these instructions or any other improper use or mishandling.

- Never place flammable objects or clothing on top of the heater.

- Allow a 50cm safe area around the heater on the top and sides and a 120cm safe area at the front.

- Never use a heater in a room with explosive gas such as petrol or while using and kinds of flammable glues.

- Prevent overheating of the appliance by keeping the air inlets and outlets clean and free of anything that may cause blockage. Check all inlets and outlets from time to time for accumulated dust.

- If overheating should occur, the built-in overheating safety device will shut the appliance off.

- Do not insert any foreign objects into the grill.

- Keep the rear grill away from any draped fabric or curtains.

Warning:

Do not use the heater in reach of a shower, bath or a swimming pool.
◇ Heater is not located immediately below a socket-outlet

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of appliance by a person responsible for they safety.
◇ Children should be supervised to ensure that they do not play with the appliance.

  • Remove the heater from all packaging and place it in desired location.
  • Ensure that there is a safe area between the heater and furniture,curtains,etc-50cm safe area form top and sides and 120cm safe area in front.
  • Unwind the Power Cord and plug it into the Power Outlet.
  • To activate the heater, turn the knob clock-wise to the ‘*’ position for cool air. Turn knob to ‘I’ for low power, ‘II’ for

maximum power.

AUTO SATETY SHUT OFF

The heater has a built-in safety device, which will switch the heater OFF in case of accidental overheating. To reset the heater, follow the next steps:

  • Turn the control setting to the 'O' position.
  • Unplug the heater and wait 5-10minutes for the unit to cool down.
  • After the unit has cooled, plug it in and operate normally.
  • Turn function switch into desired position(Fan, Low or High).

- Turn the thermostat switch to the desired temperature position.

- When you feel the room temperature comfortable, turn the thermostat switch anti-clockwise slowly to the minimal direction until the appliance switches off.

- The thermostat switch will keep the room temperature at the desired temperature automatically.

- You can also turn the thermostat switch anti-clockwise to the minimum position or turn the thermostat switch clockwise to the maximum position to make the temperature lower or higher.

Note: NEVER COVER THE HEATER

DO NOT IMMERSE IN WATER OR ANY LIQUID

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

  • Be sure to switch off the power supply and pull out the plug out the plug before cleaning.
  • Wait for the heater to cool down sufficiently.
  • Clean the body of the heater with a dry cloth. DO NOT ALLOW water into the appliance.
  • DO NOT use soap or chemicals which may damage the housing of the heater.
  • Allow sufficient drying time before operating again.
  • Clean the air inlets and outlets regularly with a vacuum cleaner(with regular use, at least twice a year)
  • When the unit is not in use, we recommend that the heater is re-packed in its original packaging and stored in a cool, dry place.
