How do I assemble the juicer?

Place the container on the motor unit and rotate clockwise until it locks. Insert the strainer basket and rotate gently until seated. Attach the pressing cone on top.

Does the juicer start automatically?

Yes, the motor starts automatically when you press a halved citrus fruit onto the pressing cone. It stops when you reduce pressure.

Why did the pressing cone stop rotating?

If excessive pressure is applied, the appliance stops as a safety feature. Reduce pressure until the cone restarts.

This appliance is designed for processing normal household quantities in the home or similar quantities in non-industrial applications.

Non-industrial applications include e.g. use in employee kitchens in shops, offices, agricultural and other commercial businesses, as well as use by guests in boarding houses, small hotels and similar dwellings.

Use the appliance for processing normal quantities of food for domestic use.

The appliance is only suitable for pressing the juice out of citrus fruits, e.g. oranges, grapefruits, lemons. It must not be used for processing other objects or substances.

Please keep the Operating instructions in a safe place.

If passing on the appliance to a third party, always include the Operating instructions.

The appliance must not be used by children.

Keep the appliance and its cord out of reach of children.

Operating the appliance

Preparation

• Clean the individual components before using for the first time.
• Unwind the power cord.
• Place the appliance on a smooth, clean surface.
  ● Assemble the appliance (Fig. 1):
• Place the container on the motor unit and rotate in a clockwise direction until it locks into position.
  – Insert the strainer basket and rotate gently until it is situated fully on the container.
• Attach the pressing cone.

Pressing fruit

- Press halved citrus fruit onto the pressing cone and hold fruit in position. The citrus press starts running when the fruit is pressed onto the pressing cone (Fig. 2).

Note:

The pressing cone may rotate in a clockwise or anti-clockwise direction. The direction of rotation may change while the fruit is being pressed.

If excessive pressure is applied, the pressing cone stops. Reduce the pressure until the pressing cone restarts.

• To switch off the appliance, reduce the pressure on the pressing cone. The citrus press switches off automatically.
  ● Empty the full strainer basket.

Cleaning and servicing

Warning!

Never immerse the base unit in liquids and do not clean in the dishwasher.

Do not use a steam cleaner!

Surfaces may be damaged. Do not use abrasive cleaning agents.

• Wipe the motor unit with a damp cloth, if required use a little washing-up liquid. Dry immediately.
• The container, strainer basket, filter insert, pressing cone and lid are dishwasher-proof.

Storage

- Assemble the citrus press and attach the lid.

Wind up the power cord in a clockwise direction (Fig. 3).

Disposal

This appliance has been identified in accordance with the European directive 2012/19/EG on Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment – WEEE.

The Directive paves the way for effective EU-wide withdrawal and utilization of waste appliances.

Please ask your dealer or inquire at your local authority about current means of disposal.

Guarantee

The guarantee conditions for this appliance are as defined by our representative in the country in which it is sold.
