When using any electrical appliance, basic safety precautions should be followed, including the followings:

  1. To ensure the familiarity of the controls, safety features, and operation of your heater - Read all instructions before using.
  2. To reduce hazard of injury due to electric shock:

2.1 Danger of shock exists even when the appliance switched off. ALWAYS unplug when do not in use.

2.2 A heater should never be used under conditions where it may be immersed, or contact with water. Do not plug in your heater if its surfaces are damp.

2.3 Do not put any objects through the safety grille.

2.4 Do not operate the heater with a damaged cord-set, or if it has been dropped, or damaged in any manner. Return it to the customer service center for inspection, repair and testing.

2.5 Close supervision is required when any appliance used by or near children.

2.6 Disconnect the cord from the outlet before cleaning.

2.7 Unplug heater by grasping plug and pulling it from the outlet.

2.8 When storing your heater for a long time, keep it in a cool and dry place.

2.9 This appliance plug should be 13Amp, ensure using the same power plug or above. Otherwise, it may cause danger.

  1. To reduce hazard of injury or property damage due to heat, fire, or explosion:

3.1 Put your heater away from furnitures or loose hanging materials. Do not put clothing or towels, etc, over the heater to dry.

3.2 Keep the rear grille out from walls or drapes so as not to block the air intake.

3.3 Use of an extension cord is not recommended. However, if it is absolutely necessary ensure the cord is:

-The cross section of the cord should not be more than 1.0mm^2 , the carrying capacity must be 13Amp.
-Short as possible (long cords coiled up can overheat, as well as cause tripping accidents)
- No more than an appliance used in the same power supply at the same time.

3.4 Do not use in the presence of explosive or flammable vapors.
3.5 Do not operate it when the heater will be left unattended for long periods of time. (for example - several weeks in an unoccupied summer cottage).
3.6 Use the heater on flat, dry surfaces only.
3.7 Do not recommend using any without units or filters any authorization.
3.8 Loose connections between the heater plug and the electrical outlet may cause the plug to overheat. Replace any worn electrical receptacles promptly.
3.9 Use on 220-240V\~, 50Hz power supply.
3.10 Ensure no other appliances are plugged into the same circuit as your heater. A circuit overload could occur, resulting in dimmed lights, blown fuses, tripped circuit breakers, or fire hazard.
3.11 Route the cord so that it will not be dumped, or pinched by furniture.
3.12 This product is intended for normal household use only.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

  1. Plug into any 220-240 V\~, 50HZ source (see important safeguards section 3.3 regarding use of extension cords).

  2. Your heater is equipped with a 2-position control switch are as follows:

  1. Set the control switch to maximum (HI) for fast warm up a room. Once the room is comfortable, select a lower setting to reduce the electrical consumption and to prevent the room from becoming overheat.

SAFETY CONTROL

The thermal fuse will be broken down when overheating or malfunctions continue.

If overheating or malfunctions continue, return the heater to customer service center for examination.

The most common cause of overheating is deposits of dust or fluff enter to the heater. Ensure these deposits are removed regularly by unplugging the unit and vacuum cleaning air vents and front grille.

MAINTENANCE

  1. Always disconnect the cord from the electrical outlet when cleaning your heater.
  2. Light accumulated dusts may be removed from the heater with a soft cloth or vacuum cleaner, using the dusting brush attachment; Interior dust can often be removed by using a vacuum cleaner in its blower mode with a crevice tool attachment.
  3. Wipe the exterior surfaces of the heater occasionally with a cloth moistened (not dripping wet) with a solution of mild detergent and water. Dry the case thoroughly with a soft dry cloth before operating the heater.

CAUTION: Do not allow water to run into the interior of the heater as this could create a fire or electric shock hazard.

  1. The fan motor is factory lubricated for life, and will require no further lubrication.
  2. No other user maintenance is required or recommended. If service is required, send your heater to the customer service center.

ATTENTION: Portable electric heaters are designed for spot heating, or as a supplementary heat source. They are not intended to be main sources of heat during the normal heating season.

  1. Do not put heater at the place near the door or route area, in case it will kick down. Power cord cannot be disheveled.
  2. Please turn off heater before leaving house or not use.
  3. Please do not let child near heater to avoid any harzard.
    The family with child is not recommended to use radiant heater unless there is properly safeguard for protection, for red light of heating tube may easily attract child and they may be burned or may be hurt by electric current.
  4. Do not put sundries into heater, it may cause heater unable to use and also have fire risk.
  5. Do not place heater near curtain, bedding or cloth, which is flammable. When dressing long and loose clothes, be careful of the cloth might be burned when getting near heater.

CAUTION:

This appliance is not intended for use by persons (included children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliance by a person responsible for their safety.
