Frequently Asked Questions - EH0154 Prem-I-Air

How do I clean the EH0154 heater?
Always unplug the heater and let it cool completely. Use a soft, dry cloth to wipe the exterior. Clean the air inlet and outlet with a vacuum cleaner attachment. The washable filter can be removed and rinsed under running water; dry it thoroughly before reinserting.
What safety features does the Prem-I-Air EH0154 have?
It includes overheat protection (auto shut-off if internal temperature exceeds safe limits), a tip-over switch (turns off if knocked over), and a cool-touch housing to prevent burns.
Can I use the heater in a bathroom?
No. The EH0154 is not designed for damp or wet rooms. It should be used in dry indoor areas only to avoid electrical hazards.
How do I set the thermostat?
Rotate the thermostat knob clockwise to increase the desired temperature. The heater will cycle on and off to maintain that temperature. In frost protection mode, set the thermostat to the lowest setting.
Why does the heater sometimes turn off by itself?
This is normal if the room reaches the set temperature. It could also indicate overheating (check if air intake is blocked) or the tip-over switch being activated. Ensure the heater is on a stable, level surface.
What is the recommended room size for this heater?
The EH0154 is suitable for rooms up to 20 square meters (about 215 sq ft). For larger rooms, multiple heaters may be needed.
Does the heater consume a lot of electricity?
At maximum setting (2000W), it uses 2 kWh per hour. However, the adjustable thermostat and two power settings help manage energy use. Using the low setting (1000W) reduces consumption.
How do I store the heater when not in use?
Unplug, clean the filter and exterior, allow to dry completely. Store in a cool, dry place away from direct sunlight. Avoid placing heavy objects on top.
Can I use an extension cord with the heater?
It is not recommended. If necessary, use a heavy-duty cord rated at least 13A and fully unwound. Ensure the cord is not damaged and does not overheat.
The heater makes a clicking noise when operating. Is that normal?
Yes. Clicking sounds are typically from the thermostat relay switching on/off. Also, the heating element may expand or contract, causing slight noises. If loud or persistent, contact support.
