SAFETY WARNINGS

1. The product shall be suitable for its purpose.
2. Never drop or insert any object into any openings.
3. DO NOT place anything on top of unit.
4. Never block the air openings, grills/outlets or place on a soft surface like a sofa, as this could cause the unit to tip over, blocking the air intake or outtake opening.
5. Make sure that your outlet voltage corresponds to the voltage stated on the rating label of the charger.
6. Do not use the appliance with damaged charger, cord or plug, when appliance is not working properly, has been dropped or if motor fan fails to rotate. Do not attempt to examine or repair this product yourself. Only qualified service personnel should perform any servicing.
7. Always unplug the air purifier before moving it, opening the grill, changing filters, cleaning or whenever the air purifier is not in use. Be sure to pull by the plug and not the cord.
8. To reduce the risk of fire or electric shock, do not use this fan with any solid-state speed control device.
9. This appliance may only be used with the accessories and parts provided by the manufacturer.
10. This appliance is not intended for use by persons (including children) with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities, or lack of experience and knowledge, unless they have been given supervision or instruction concerning use of the appliances by a person responsible for their safety.
11. This appliance is only suitable for indoor use and domestic purposes.
12. No responsibility is accepted if damage results from improper use and mishandling, or if these instructions are not complied with.

PRODUCT DESCRIPTION

COMBINATION FILTER

The above illustration shows the multiple filtration layers of the Combination Filter to demonstrate the different filtration layers it contains:

1. PRE-FILTER combined with
2. CHARCOAL FILTER
3. TRUE HEPA FILTER

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS

Before operating the air purifier

1. Carefully remove your air purifier from box and bag.
2. Select a firm, level and flat location for the air purifier.

* For proper air flow, locate the unit at least 1 foot from any wall or furniture. * Make sure none of the grills are blocked.

1. Plug the power cord into a 220V AC outlet.

IMPORTANT: When moving the air purifier, always lift unit by the carrying handle located on back.

Operating the air purifier

1. Turn the air purifier ON by rotating POWER KNOB clockwise.
2. Upon turning the air purifier ON, the power indicator will be lit and the unit will be in LOW mode (I).
3. Rotate the POWER KNOB clockwise further to set the air purifier to MEDIUM mode (II).
4. Continue to rotate the POWER KNOB clockwise to set the air purifier to HIGH mode (III).
5. To activate the UV-C Bulb, press the UV button. Press the button again to turn OFF the UV-C Bulb.
6. To turn the unit OFF, rotate the POWER KNOB counter-clockwise to OFF mode ( • ).

Installing / removing combination filter

1. Turn off and unplug the unit.

1. Press the Lock and Release Button and remove the Rear Cover from the unit.

1. Remove the used Combination Filter and dispose of it in the garbage.
2. Insert new Combination Filter into the unit. Consult the arrow on the filter for correct installation direction.

1. Reattach the Rear Cover of the unit and securely latch intoplace.

Installing / removing UV-C bulb

1. Remove the Rear Cover of the unit by pushing Lock & Release Button

1. After removing the Rear Cover from the unit, remove the Combination Filter

1. After removing the Combination Filter, use a Philips head screwdriver to remove two (2) screws and detach the UV-C Metal Shield

1. The UV-C Bulb is removed by carefully grasping the bulb with a clean cloth or tissue and pulling the bulb straight out of the unit

2. The UV-C Bulb is reinstalled by sliding it, horizontally, back into the slots at the top of the unit

CLEANING AND CARE

The air purifier should be cleaned at least once every month and the outer Pre-/Charcoal Filter attached to the HEPA Filter should be cleaned every month. More frequent cleaning may be required depending on environmental conditions.

Pre/Charcoal Filter

• Remove the Pre-/Charcoal Filter from the Velcro strips on the True HEPA Filter.
• Clean with the brush attachment of your vacuum cleaner. This will remove lint and dirt.
  • After cleaning, reattach the Pre-/Charcoal Filter to the True HEPA Filter.

True HEPA Filter

• Remove the Combination Filter from the back of unit.
• Remove the Pre-/Charcoal Filter to expose the HEPA Filter.
• When the HEPA Filter turns from white to grey or black it should be replaced with a new one. If the HEPA Filter is still white, it does NOT need to be replaced.

IMPORTANT: Do NOT try to wash and re-use the Combination Filters.

NOTE: The Combination Filter is one filter. The multiple layers include: the Pre-/Charcoal Filter and the True HEPA Filter.

Air purifier

Use a clean, dry, soft cloth to wipe the external surface of the unit.

NOTE: Do NOT stick any foreign objects or your fingers inside of the unit.

CAUTION: Do NOT use gasoline, benzine, thinner, harsh cleaners, etc. on and/or in the unit while cleaning as they will damage the product. NEVER use alcohol or other solvents!
