Instructions for use

Before use:

Make sure that all the product's packaging has been removed.
• Before using this product for the first time, it is advisable to test it without food.

Use:

• Connect the appliance to the mains.
• Close the grill toaster.
  • The pilot light comes on.
• Wait until the pilot light has gone out which will indicate that the appliance has reached an adequate temperature.

To use as a grill:

• Place the meat or food to be cooked on the bottom cooking plate.
• Close the top cooking plate. The top plate must be fully lowered to achieve grill

marks on the selected foods.

To use as a sandwich press:

• Place the sandwich onto the bottom cooking plate. Always place sandwiches towards the rear of the bottom cooking plate.
• Close the top cooking plate which has a floating hinge. The top plate must be fully lowered to cook sandwiches.
• When the food is to your taste, remove it from the appliance with the help of a wooden spatula or similar heat resistant implement; do not use utensils that could damage the nonstick coating.

Once you have finished using the appliance:

• Unplug the appliance from the mains.
- Clean the appliance.

Cleaning

• Disconnect the appliance from the mains and allow it to cool before undertaking any cleaning task.
• Clean the equipment with a damp cloth with a few drops of washing-up liquid and then dry.
