Frequently Asked Questions - 50ATA6000-U Allview

How do I set up the TV for the first time?
Unpack the TV, attach the base stands using the screws provided, connect the power cord, and press the power button. Follow the on-screen Android TV setup wizard to connect to Wi-Fi, sign in to your Google account, and configure settings.
The remote control is not working. What should I check?
First, ensure the batteries are inserted correctly with matching polarity. Try replacing them with new AAA batteries. Also, check that there are no obstructions between the remote and the TV sensor, and that the sensor is not exposed to bright light. If using a Bluetooth remote, pair it by holding the HOME and left arrow buttons together.
How do I connect external devices like a DVD player or game console?
Use the HDMI ports for digital video/audio. For analog devices, use the AV IN terminal (yellow for video, red/white for audio). Select the correct input source by pressing the SOURCE button on the remote.
How do I wall-mount the TV?
Use a VESA 200x200 mm wall mount bracket (not included), with screws of M6 diameter. The screw depth (D) must be between 32 mm and 39 mm. For terminals facing the wall, use gaskets (hollow pillars) with dimensions: internal diameter 8 mm, external 18 mm, height at least 15 mm. Disconnect power before installation and follow the wall mount instructions.
The picture is distorted or has no color. How can I fix it?
Adjust the color and picture settings from the menu. Check the antenna or cable connection. Try a different channel to rule out broadcast issues. Also, ensure the TV is not too close to other electronic devices that may cause interference.
There is no sound but the picture is fine. What could be wrong?
Press the MUTE button to ensure sound is not muted. Increase the volume. Check the audio balance in the sound menu. If headphones are plugged into the TV, disconnect them. Also, verify that the correct audio output is selected in the settings.
How do I access apps like YouTube or Google Play?
Press the HOME button on the remote to enter the Android TV home screen. Use the arrow keys to navigate to the Apps section, then select the desired app (e.g., YouTube, Google Play). You can also use the dedicated YouTube button if available.
The TV says 'This file is invalid' when I try to play a video from USB. Why?
The file may be corrupted or use an unsupported codec. Try playing the file on a computer to confirm it works. Check the TV's supported video and audio formats in the manual. Common supported formats include MP4, AVI, MKV with H.264 video and AAC audio.
How do I clean the TV screen and body?
Use a soft, dry cloth to gently wipe the screen and plastic body. Do not use water, alcohol, or any liquid cleaners, as they may damage the screen or cause electric shock. For stubborn stains, slightly dampen the cloth and wring it out thoroughly before wiping.
What battery goes in the remote and how to install?
The remote uses two AAA 1.5V batteries. Open the battery compartment on the back, insert the batteries matching the + and - markings, and close the cover. Do not mix old and new batteries or different types. Remove batteries if not using the remote for a long time.
