General safety instructions
Please read this Instruction Manual carefully before use.
Keep these instructions; the guarantee certificate; the sales receipt; and if possible the gift box with the inner packaging.
Switch off the toaster and remove the main plug from the main supply whenever the toaster is not in use.
Never use a fork or other sharp objects to clean the toaster. Doing so can damage the toaster.
Under no circumstances must the toaster be placed in water or other liquids.
Test the toaster and the cable regularly for damage. If there is damage of any kind, the toaster should not be used.
In case of any repairs, replacement of cord or plug, or adjustment, please consult a qualified technician, or take the toaster to an authorised service facility.
To avoid accidents, never touch the surface of the toaster when it is operating.
Before plugging or unplugging the mains plug of the toaster from the main supply, make sure the knob is set at the 0 position.
Keep these instructions in a safe place for future reference.

Using the toaster
When using the toaster for the first time, remove all packaging.
Place the toaster on a suitable flat surface.
Check to ensure everything has been removed.
Do not place bread in the toaster for the first use. Instead, switch on to allow the heating elements to preheat and burn off any dust and residues which may have accumulated during manufacturing or assembly.
Once the above is completed, do not ever operate the toaster when empty.
The toaster is now ready for use.
Place the toaster on a suitable flat surface.
Plug the main plug of the toaster into the main supply.
Place as many slices of bread as desired on the grill surface (Max: 4 slices).
Turn the timer knob to the desired position. Never walk away and leave the toaster without supervision while it is operating. You can stop the toaster at any time by turning the timer knob back to the 0 position.
After use, unplug the toaster from the main supply.

Cleaning and maintenance
Always unplug the toaster from the main supply and allow to cool before cleaning.
Do not use abrasive cleansers. Simply wipe the exterior with a clean damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
The bread frame should be cleaned regularly.
Never wrap the cord around the outside of the toaster.
When not in use, disconnect the toaster and store in a dry, safe place, out of reach of children.
