This straightening iron is intended for household use. Use on Ab alternating Current (60 hrs) only. This unit is designed to be opened at 120V AC. This appliance has a polarized plug one blade is wider than the other. As a safety feature, this plug will fit in a polar and outlet only one way. If the plug does not fit fully in the outlet, reverse the plug. If it still does not fit, contact a qualified electrician. Do not attempt to defeat the safety feature.

Plug the iron into an electrical outlet. Turn on unit. The power setting will become illuminated.

TO STRAIGHTEN HAIR

Hair should be clean and completely dry before using the straightening iron. For best results, use a light styling product before blow-drying hair.

  1. Start with a hair section that is 1 inch wide and no more than 1/2 inch thick.

  2. Open the iron and place the hair section between the two hot plates, close to the scalp. Trap hair between the plates by firmly squeezing the handles together. While maintaining the tension, slowly pull the unit down along the hair section toward the ends of hair.

  3. At the end of hair section, release the pressure on the handle and allow the hair section to slide out.
