How do I set up the TX60U-IT-D sensor?

Start by ensuring your GW1000-U gateway has a solid red light. Insert 2 AAA batteries into the sensor with correct polarity. Optionally, connect the probe. Download the La Crosse Alerts Mobile app and follow on-screen instructions to register.

Why is my gateway light blinking 4 times?

4 blinks means the gateway is ready to register. If you see this, proceed with the app setup to register the sensor.

What batteries does the sensor require?

The sensor requires 2 AAA (LR3) batteries which are not included. Avoid mixing old and new or different battery types.

What is the transmission range of the sensor?

The sensor transmits up to 200 feet (60.96 meters) in open air. Walls and obstacles may reduce range.

How do I perform a factory reset on the sensor?

Hold the gray button on the sensor until the display resets. For the gateway, remove power cord, hold the gray button while reconnecting power, continue holding until the red light flashes twice, then release. When light flashes 4 times, re-register.

Can I use the probe with the sensor?

Yes, an optional probe (wet, dry, threaded, or hot tub) can be inserted into the sensor. The probe measures temperature from -40°F to 140°F.

FACTORY RESET

Gateway:

1. Remove power cord
2. Hold gray button & insert power cord

CARE AND MAINTENANCE
