How do I clean the filter?
Remove the dust cup and take out the foam filter. Rinse it under running water until clean. Squeeze out excess water and let it air dry completely before reinstalling. Do not use the vacuum without a dry filter.
What is the battery type and can I replace it?
The HV-12 HDN uses a 12V NiMH rechargeable battery. The battery is replaceable; contact Koblenz or an authorized service center for a replacement part.
How long does the battery last after a full charge?
Under normal use, the battery provides up to 20 minutes of continuous operation. Actual runtime may vary depending on surface type and suction load.
What accessories are included with the vacuum?
The vacuum comes with a crevice tool for tight spaces and a dusting brush for delicate surfaces. Both attach to the front nozzle.
How do I empty the dust cup?

Is the vacuum suitable for pet hair?
Yes, the HV-12 HDN can pick up pet hair from upholstery and hard floors. For best results, use the brush accessory to agitate hair.
