Frequently Asked Questions - PB74 COLBOR

How to charge the COLBOR PB74?
Use a single-port PD45W or higher fast charger with the included 60W Type-C cable. Connect the cable to the Type-C port on the PB74. The battery indicator shows charging progress. Remove the cable when fully charged.
Which lights are compatible with the PB74?
The PB74 is compatible with COLBOR W60/W100 series lights (excluding those with Hardware VER. "1"). For verification, contact local agent or COLBOR support at support@colborlight.com.
How to install the PB74 on a light?
Ensure the PB74 is off. Align the power contacts and 1/4" screw at the top of the PB74 with the light's power port and screw hole. Rotate the 1/4" screw locking wheel to secure. Only turn on after locking.
How to check the remaining battery level?
Slide the battery indicator toggle. It springs back and the four LEDs show the level: less than 20% (one light), 20–40% (two), 40–70% (three), 70–100% (four). Flashing single light means nearly depleted.
Can I use the PB74 while it is charging?
Yes, but the output power to the light is limited to 50% when charging simultaneously. For W60 series, use a charger over 35W; for W100 series, over 55W. Power first goes to the light then the battery.
What charger is required for the PB74?
A single-port fast charger supporting 20V output and PD45W or higher. Multi-port chargers may reduce charging efficiency. Use the included 60W Type-C cable or a cable supporting 60W power transmission.
How to store the PB74 when not in use?
Turn off the PB74, remove it from the light, and store in a dry, clean, dust-free environment. Charge the battery every 3 months to prevent deep discharge.
What is the runtime of the PB74 with W100 series lights?
At 100% power output, the PB74 powers W100 series lights for approximately 29 minutes. For W60 series, runtime is about 70 minutes.
What should I do if the battery is not charging?
Ensure you are using a PD45W or higher single-port charger and the 60W Type-C cable. Check that the charger provides 20V output. If the battery is deeply discharged, it may take a few minutes to start charging. Contact support if problem persists.
What is the warranty period for COLBOR products?
COLBOR offers a 30-day free replacement or repair for quality defects, and a 12-month limited warranty from the date of purchase. Retain your sales receipt and warranty certificate. Warranty does not cover human errors or modifications.

1. Charging

Please use the single-port fast charger which supports a voltage of 20V and an output power of PD45W or higher.

* According to USB-IF, only fast chargers with PD45W or higher can provide a 20V output. Chargers with less than PD45W cannot charge the PB74.

45W 45W 25W 20W

* If charging the PB74 and multiple devices via the multi-port fast charger simultaneously, it will reduce the output power and lead to lower charging efficiency for the PB74.

* Please use the included 60W Type-C cable or a Type-C cable that supports 60W power transmission for charging, otherwise, it will reduce the charging efficiency.

* Do not use the Type-C cable that with the power adapter to charge the PB74 to avoid overcharging, which could lead to battery overheating, swelling, or even catching on fire.

2. Installation and Removal
