INSTRUCTIONS FOR CORRECT USE OF THE PRODUCT
Remove the protective cap before switching on the device. Adjust the lever to select the desired trim length, or use one of the cutting guides provided.
Insert the plug in an electric socket and turn on the device by means of the on/off switch.
Important: Always move the hair cutters in the opposite direction to the hair growth. Position the device close to the nape of the neck and move it slowly over the hair, only cutting a few strands at a time.
Note: To achieve a uniform trim, the cutting guide should slide smoothly through the hair. Do not force it in an attempt to speed up the operation. If
this is your first experience of cutting hair, use the largest comb accessory. Avoid using the product for more than 8 minutes at a time. If you need to use it for longer, allow the device to cool down for about 10 minutes before recommencing use.
After every use, turn off the switch and remove the plug from the electric socket.
TRIM LENGTH ADJUSTMENT LEVER

natural_image
Mechanical diagram showing a lever mechanism with motion arrows (no text or symbols)The lever is conveniently positioned on the left side of the device, so that it can be moved by the thumb of the right hand while you are holding the clippers. By moving the lever up and down, you can control the depth of the trim. So, when the lever is in the highest position, the resulting trim will be shorter, and in the lowest position it will be longer.
The length of the cut ranges between a minimum of 1mm and a maximum of 2.4mm.
In addition, you are advised to use this lever to remove any hair that remains caught between the two blades. By moving the lever up and down rapidly while the machine is still switched on, you can clean the blades completely without needing to remove them.
CUTTING GUIDES
By use of the 4 cutting guides provided, you can adjust the length of the trim up to a maximum of 12 mm (with the guide comb inserted).
The cutting lengths are as follows:
Without a guide comb: 1 mm to 2.4 mm
With guide combs: from 3 - 6 - 9 - 12 mm. The length of the cut is shown on the guide comb.
IMPORTANT: The device must always be turned off when inserting or removing a cutting guide.
HOW TO CUT HAIR USING THE CUTTING GUIDES
Ease the comb into the grooves on the device until you hear a click.
Check that the comb is correctly inserted in the grooves on both sides.
Select the desired setting for the length of cut (3/6/9/12 mm).
It is advisable to start with the maximum length in order to familiarise yourself with the device.
Check that the flat side of the comb is always in contact with the scalp, in order to obtain the best possible cut.
Move the clippers slowly over the crown of the head, proceeding in different directions in order to achieve a uniform cut.
Make repeated passes over the head to ensure that the clippers cut all the hair. Comb the hair every so often in the direction of growth, to allow the clippers to grasp the hair more easily.
In order to obtain a good result with curly, thinning, long or fine hair, make use of a comb to guide the hair towards the device.
We advise you to eliminate hair from the device at frequent intervals.
ALIGNMENT OF THE BLADES
The hair clippers are put on sale ready for use and with the blades already aligned and lubricated. If the blades are not aligned correctly, they must be re-aligned in the following manner:
Slightly loosen the holding screws, and ensure that the teeth of the two blades are matching. Position those of the upper blade about 1.2 mm higher than those of the lower blade (as shown in the diagram), then re-tighten the screws.
