Read the warnings contained in this booklet carefully as they provide important safety instructions for the installation, use and maintenance of the appliance. Keep this manual safe for future consultation.

IMPORTANT SAFETY INSTRUCTIONS

• After removing the packaging materials, make sure the product is complete. If you note visible damages, do not use and return to the manufacturer or dealer.
- Keep the plastic bag or other packaging materials out of reach of children.
- For safety reasons, the electric overblanket and control unit must not be opened up or taken apart.
- Use the electric overblanket with the control unit provided only.
- Before connecting the appliance, check that the voltage indicated on the rating label matches the mains voltage.
- Do not use the electric overblanket folded or creased.
- This product has been conceived as a household electric over blanket. Any other use is considered improper and therefore dangerous.
- Disconnect the control unit before washing.
- Do not dry clean
- Do not use if the electric overblanket or its components are damp or wet.
- Do not wring or twist.
- Do not insert pins or similar into the electric overblanket.
- Unplug the appliance from the mains socket when not in use.
- Never pull the power cable or control unit to unplug the overblanket from the mains socket
- This blanket is not intended for medical use in hospitals.

- Use the appliance on a mattress only. Do not use on rigid surfaces (without a mattress, on a bed base, slats, floor, etc).

- Unplug from the power socket before lying down. The user should not fall asleep when the device is operating.

- Do not use on invalids, children, people insensitive to heat, or wearers of pacemakers or other battery-powered medical devices.

- Prolonged use at a high temperature can cause skin burns.

- Do not use together with another heating appliance.

- The appliance should not be used on adjustable beds as the overblanket or cable could be trapped or snagged.

- Before storing the products, let it cool down.

- Do not crease and/or deform the electric overblanket by placing objects on top of it while stored.

- Do not use the product outdoor.

- In case of faults or malfunction, unplug from the mains socket. Do not tamper and contact the authorised after sale service immediately.

- This product can be used by children from 8 years old and people with reduced physical, sensory or mental capabilities or lack of experience, under supervision or if they have received proper instructions regarding the use of the appliance safely and they understand the dangers involved.

- This product is not a toy. Children should be supervised to ensure they do not play with the appliance. Keep this product out of reach of children.

- If the safety fuse blows, the appliance must be returned to the manufacturer or its representative.

- Examine the appliance frequently for any sign of wear or deterioration.

If you note visible sign of deterioration or the appliance do not works properly, contact the authorised after sale service. If the cable or the plug are damaged, do not use the appliance and contact the authorised after sale service or the manufacturer.

- The user should not fall asleep with the unit in operation, connected to the mains.

- WARNING: Not suitable for children under 3 years. Children younger than 3 years old should not use it because of their inability to react to the overheating.

- The electric overblanket should not be used by children unless the control has been pre-set by a parent or guardian, or if the child has not been adequately instructed on how to use it safely.

- This product is not intended to be used by or on persons insensitive to heat or unable to react to overheating.

• This product is not intended for medical use in hospitals.

- Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be performed by children without adult supervision.

- If the power supply cable is damaged, it must be replaced by the manufacturer or its after-sales service in order to avoid any risk.

- The appliance can be used by children between the ages of 3 and 8 if under supervision and if the control device is set to the minimum temperature.

- The cable and control unit can cause strangulation, obstruction and tripping if not properly secured. The user must make sure that the excess cable part is securely fixed.

How to use:

This product is intended to be used as a blanket, so it must cover the user by placing it directly in contact or over a sheet. Do not use the product as a "heating blanket" or "under blanket". Connect the provided command to the cover (the cover has a plug connected to the control) and make sure it is fully connected.

HOW TO USE THE ELECTRIC OVER BLANKET

Do not store the controller under the pillow or under the overblanket during use.

Place the ignition switch position 0 and insert the command plug into the socket. Set the temperature selector to the maximum level. After 15 minutes set the temperature to the desired level.

It is advisable to switch on the bed warmer one hour before going to bed by moving the switch to the desired temperature level.

The selected temperature level depends on the room temperature and personal preferences. For example:

Level1: low power for slight heating,

Level 2: medium power

Level 3: high power to heat the bed when the room is particularly cold.

To heat the bed quicker, select level n.3

Before going to bed, turn the appliance off and unplug from the mains socket.

The temperature detected with the hand is different from that perceived by the body when lying in bed, on other parts of the body it can in fact be extremely hot. The temperature detectable on the blanket once heated is in the range 34°-38° . Variations in the detectable temperature may be due to particular environmental conditions in which the overblanket is used.

Disconnect the Connector

To disconnect the connector, pull the plug out. Never pull the cable.

After use:

Make sure the controller is in 0 position when the electric overblanket is not in use and remove the

plug from the power socket. If the electric overblanket is not to be used for a long period of time, place the appliance in a cool and dry place.

CLEANING AND MAINTENANCE

• Before washing or cleaning the appliance, unplug the control unit from the electric overblanket.
• Cleaning and maintenance operations should not be performed by children without adult supervision.

Do not dry clean or use chemical solvents, as these products may damage the electric overblanket and compromise the safety of the appliance.

Do not bleach.

Wash the electric overblanket by hand or in a washing machine at a maximum temperature of 30° C with low mechanical action and spin. It is advisable to wash the appliance by hand in order to prolong the life of the product. After washing, place the electric overblanket over a clothes line to dry. Do not use clothes pegs to secure it because they may damage the heating elements.

Do not crease, wring or twist the electric overblanket.

- Never immerse the control unit or power cable in water.

Never dry in a tumble dryer.

Dry lying

Do not iron.

This product should not be used by young children (0-3 years old)

• Do not plug the appliance to the mains socket to dry it faster.
• Do not leave the appliance dry under the sun.
• Do not use hair dryer to dry the appliance.
• Let the electric overblanket to dry in a natural way.
• Do not use if the electric overblanket or its components are damp or wet.

STORAGE

When the electric overblanket is not to be used for a long time, allow to cool down, fold delicately and place in the box provided without pressing down excessively. Do not rest heavy objects on top of the blanket as they could crush and damage the appliance.

Place the product on a cool and dry place.
