General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.

Assembly
The fan is delivered with the grilles unassembled. The grilles must be assembled before the appliance is put into operation.
Warning: Never use the appliance without the base and all parts assembled. The appliance must only be used in an upright position. Any other positioning will be dangerous.
Assemble the base and other parts of the appliance in the following sequence:
- Unpack the ventilator and remove all parts from the carton.
- Fit the base (18) into the base (14) and tighten the corresponding fitting thread (20).
- Insert the control unit into the height adjustment rod (17). Tighten the fixing screw (12).
- Use the clamping nut on the back of the grille (5) to assemble the rear grille (6) to the fan head. Then fit the blades (4). Then use the blade adjusting thread (3) to fasten the blades in place.
- To assemble the front grille (1) to the rear grille, use the grille ring (2) carefully to hold them together, and tighten it with the screw provided (22).
Operation
Before using the fan, make sure that it is on a flat and stable surface. Damage may occur if the unit is placed at an angle.
Turn all switches to the "OFF" position. Insert the plug into the socket. Make sure that the plug fits correctly into the socket.
To turn off the fan completely, turn all controls to the OFF position, and pull the cord out of the socket.

"ON/SPEED": Press the ON / SPEED button to start the fan at the desired speed, indicated in the following sequence: 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6. The control panel displays the current speed.

"PROGRAM/TIMER":
- If the fan is in stand-by mode, press the "PROGRAM/TIMER" button. Set the desired operating mode, oscillation and speed. Then choose the timer for the fan to start running (e.g. if you select 0.5 hours, the fan will start running automatically after 30 minutes). The indicator light corresponding to the selected time will illuminate.

- If the fan is running, press the "PROGRAM/TIMER" button. Then choose the timer for the fan to stop. The indicator light corresponding to the selected time will illuminate.
OSCILLATE": If you want to increase the area of action in the room, press the OSCILLATE button. The fan will oscillate and ventilate the room with greater range. The oscillation indicator light will remain illuminated. To stop oscillation, simply press the OSCILLATE button again. The oscillation indicator light will turn off.
- "MODE": selects the operating mode: normal, natural and sleep.
- "OFF": Press the OFF button to turn off the fan. All indicator lights will turn off.
- The functions described above can be operated from the remote control by pressing the corresponding buttons. The remote control operates at a maximum distance of 7 metres and at an angle of approximately 20 degrees.
- If the remote control does not work properly, replace the old batteries with new ones. The battery disposal instructions must be observed.
- To increase or decrease the height of the fan, loosen the height adjustment screw, and raise or lower the bar to the desired height. Then tighten the height adjustment thread firmly. Note: Turn off the fan while adjusting the height.
Cleaning and maintenance
Unplug the power cord from the electrical outlet before cleaning, disassemble or handle the appliance or any of its parts.
The appliance should be disassembled first before carrying out a deep cleaning.
Use damp soft cloth to clean the appliance's surface. Please clean carefully the motor unit and the control panel with a dry or damp soft cloth. If the cloth is excessively moistened, clean immediately with a dry cloth.
Clean the blades with a damp soft cloth. It is possible to moisten the cloth with a mild solution of water and soap.
Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid. Do not put it under a water stream. Do not put the appliance into the dishwasher. Do not use aggressive cleaner products. Do not use metallic brushes or sharp tools to clean the appliance.
Remove the batteries from the remote controller if it is not going to be used during long periods of time.
If appliance is not to be used for long periods of time, clean it and store it in its packaging. If you are disassembling it, place every part in an orderly manner to make easier its future assembly. Store the appliance in a dry environment.
