General safety instructions
Before using the appliance ensure that the main voltage corresponds to the voltage displayed on the rating label. Always plug the appliance into a suitable electrical outlet.
In order to avoid electrical shock risk, please do not inmerse the power cord nor the appliance into water or any other kind of liquid. Check the cleaning instructions.
Do not use unauthorized accessories. This will result in cancellation of the guarantee and could cause accidents.
Do not keep the power cording hanging from the table or the shelf. Keep it away from hot sources. Do not allow sharp or blunt objects to touch it. Do not operate the appliance if the power cord or the plug are damaged, or if you notice unusual operation of the appliance.
Do not leave the appliance operating without supervision. Always switch off the appliance and unplug it. Pull the plug, not the power cord.

Water level must be between the MAX and MIN marks. If the water level is beyond the maximum level allowed, hot water may splash and cause severe burns while boiling.

This appliance has been designed to operate with the base supplied in this kit. Do not try to use a different base from any other kettle model.
This appliance is intended for domestic use. It may also be suitable for:

Safety thermal switch
The safety thermal switch protects the appliance against overheating.
If the appliance is operating without any water on the tank, or if it stays switched on for excessive time, the safety switch will turn it off automatically. Once the safety system has switched off the appliance, allow it to cool down completely and proceed to descaling before using it again.

WARNING
Do not exceed the maximum 1.7L mark. At the same time, ensure that the tank is filled to reach the minimum 0.6L mark.

Operation

NOTE: This appliance can only be used to boil water. Do not use it to boil milk, coffee, tea, soup or any other liquid.
Ensure that the power switch button is off before plugging it into the electrical outlet.
- Put the appliance in vertical position over a suitable plain surface.
- Remove the lid from the base. Open the lid cover by pressing the safety lock button. Fill the tank with cold water. The water level must at least the minimum mark (0.6L) and should not surpass the maximum level (1.7L).

- Check that the appliance is dry, with special attention to the bottom part. Dry with a clean towel if needed.
- Place the lid back on top of the base. Plug the power cord in a suitable electrical outlet. Press the switch button to turn it on. The red light indicator will also turn on.
- Once the boiling point is reached, the safety system will automatically turn off the appliance. You can turn off the appliance before the boiling point is reached by pressing the on / off button.
- To pour the hot water, pull the lid by the handle. Ensure that the lid cover remains closed.
Once this operation is finished, allow the lid to cool down for at least 15 minutos before using it again.

NOTE: Please, remove all remaining water from the tank after each use and before operating the appliance again.
Descaling
Calcium deposits may form around the heating element of the appliance, depending on the used water's quality. It is recommended to remove these deposits periodically by following these steps:
- Prepare a mixture of 0,5l water with two tablespoon of vinegar.
- Pour the mixture into the appliance's tank.
- Turn on the appliance. When the mixture reaches its boiling point, the appliance will switch off automatically. Allow the mixture acting for 3 minutes.
- Remove the mixture with extreme caution in order to avoid accidental burns.
- Once the appliance has cooled down completely, clean it thoroughly with clean water.
Cleaning and maintenance
Before cleaning the appliance it must be unplugged from the electrical outled and allowed to cool down completely.
Use an slightly moistened soft cloth to clean the appliance.
Never immerse the appliance into water or any other liquid. Do not put it under running water. Do not clean the appliance in the dishwasher.
Do not use abrasive products for cleaning. Do not use sharp or metallic tools to remove the dirt from the appliance.
Keep the lid cover close while the appliance is not being used. Keep it away from heat sources, direct sunlight, wet environments or sharp objects.
